From August 20 to August 26, guests at Disneyland Paris Resort will have the extraordinary opportunity to partake in the enchanting World Princess Week celebration. At the majestic Castle Stage nestled by the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle and in the parks beyond, Disney park visitors will be captivated by the presence of beloved Disney Princess characters such as Princess Moana, Princess Tiana, Princess Merida, Princess Aurora, and Princess Mulan.

Each of these inspiring princesses embodies unique qualities that exemplify courage, determination, independence, and confidence, making this event a symbol of empowerment and resilience. Throughout the week, attendees can witness each strong and fearless Disney Princess character come together for special appearances and interactive experiences.

While many fans were delighted to celebrate the joy and boldness of this Disney experience, some found themselves disappointed after being banned from one of the week’s festivities. Here is what we know…

Child-Only Attraction Stirs Controversy

In a magical twist for the Disneyland Paris Resort Princess Week, Disneyland Paris has introduced a delightful new experience for its youngest visitors as World Princess Week returns to the parks worldwide. Belle, the beloved heroine from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, hosted special storytime sessions exclusively for young Disney resort guests in Fantasyland.

This enchanting addition to Princess Week is capturing the hearts of families and little ones alike. Set against the backdrop of Fantasyland’s whimsical architecture, Belle’s storytime offers an immersive and interactive experience, inviting children to sit with her as she reads from a selection of enchanting tales.

An Enchanting Experience for Young Guests

During the storytime sessions, Princess Belle reads in French and English from a curated selection of children’s books that highlight themes of adventure, kindness, and bravery. Each session is designed to engage young listeners with Belle’s animated and expressive reading style, bringing the stories to life and sparking their imaginations during this Disney Princess celebration.

However, some older fans feel disappointed that they are banned from sitting and attending this event. Most attractions and meet and greets and Disney accept guests of all ages, but this new Disneyland Paris experience does not uphold that standard.

In the past, there have been a lot of debates over whether or not Disney’s attractions should be geared toward children as well as adults. While many believe that Walt Disney imagined the parks as a place for children to go, others advocate that adults deserve magical experiences just as much.

As Princess Week wraps up, it will be hard to say if this attraction is gone for good. What do you think about this child-only attraction?
