Disney Annual Passholders Given $1,000 Discount and Much More — But You Have To Act Now

If you’ve ever looked at your Disney Annual Pass and thought, “Is this still a good deal?” — you’re not alone. With price hikes, limited perks, and blackout dates, many Passholders have felt like the magic was fading. But now? Disney is flipping the script.

This summer, they’re rolling out a slew of exclusive perks, limited-time deals, and unexpected bonuses that make having an Annual Pass feel like a winning ticket again — including a jaw-dropping $1,000 discount.

Let’s break down what’s happening and why now might be the best time to take full advantage of being a Passholder.

Water Parks for Just $49

One of the biggest perks? Single-day water park tickets are going for just $49 plus tax. That’s a steep discount off regular prices, and it’s available exclusively to Passholders for a limited time. With both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach open, it’s the perfect opportunity to beat the Florida heat.

And here’s a fun bonus: If you’re staying at a Disney Resort, you can enjoy free water park access on your check-in day. That’s more than just a nice perk — that’s a full-day bonus you might’ve missed.

Up to 40% Off at Restaurants You Actually Want to Eat At

Let’s be honest, dining discounts have been a bit “meh” in the past. Not this time. Select restaurants are offering 40% off Monday through Thursday, including fan-favorites like:

  • Boatwright’s Dining Hall

  • Cape May Cafe (dinner only)

  • Hollywood & Vine

  • Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood

  • Tusker House (lunch and dinner)

If you’ve ever wanted to splurge on a nice Disney meal, this discount makes it way more reasonable.

A Lounge Just for Passholders

Tucked away inside Restaurant Marrakesh in EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion, there’s an exclusive Passholder Lounge open now through July 13. It’s air-conditioned (a serious bonus), stocked with free snacks and water, and even has phone charging stations. Oh, and you get a complimentary button just for stopping in.

It’s the kind of hidden gem that makes you feel like Disney actually sees you again.

A New Magnet and Stylish Merch

Passholder magnets have become a collector’s item, and this season’s version stars Maleficent. You can grab yours at EPCOT’s Creations Shop until July 31.

There’s also a limited-edition tumbler designed by Joey Chou — and it comes with a drink. Pair that with exclusive tees and hats available across the parks, and there’s plenty of Passholder-only swag to show off.

A Dessert Worth Dressing Up For

Over at Hollywood Scoops in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there’s a new Passholder-exclusive dessert — the Cruella Sundae. It’s cookies-and-cream ice cream in a chocolate waffle bowl, topped with fudge, whipped cream, and chocolate chips. It looks as good as it tastes — just like Cruella would’ve wanted.

Joffrey’s Drink Challenge

Joffrey’s Coffee is getting in on the fun too. They’ve released five new Passholder-only drinks — one for each park — and if you try them all, you’ll earn a free beverage holder from Disney Springs. Think of it as a caffeine-fueled scavenger hunt.

After Hours Discounts

Summer crowds can be overwhelming, but After Hours events let you enjoy the parks with shorter waits — and now Passholders get discounts to make it more doable:

  • $30 off at Hollywood Studios

  • $30 off at EPCOT

  • $15 off H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon

That’s a solid savings for anyone looking to extend the magic past sunset.

Halloween Party Deal and a $1,000 Bonus

Looking ahead to fall? Passholders get $10 off tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on select dates in August and September.

But the biggest surprise of all is this: Disney Vacation Club is giving Passholders up to $1,000 off select memberships this summer. If you’ve ever thought about diving into DVC, this could be the push you’ve been waiting for.

Is It Worth It Again?

Between deep discounts, exclusive merch, air-conditioned escapes, and that $1,000 DVC offer, it really feels like Disney is trying to win back Annual Passholders in a big way. And you know what? It’s working.

If you’ve been on the fence about renewing or putting that Pass to use — this might be the summer to go all in. Just don’t wait too long. These perks won’t be around forever.

Andrew Boardwine

A frequent visitor of Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, Andrew will likely be found freefalling on Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or enjoying Pirates of the Caribbean. Over at Universal, he'll be taking in the thrills of the Jurassic World Velocicoaster and Revenge of the Mummy

One Comment

  1. I wish these Passholder discounts were offered during the fall and winter. As a Passholder, there are many blackout days during the summer when these are offered. Also, the temperatures are very hot during the summer. These should be offered during the fall and winter months also.
