The new year has arrived, which means that several very welcome changes are coming to the Walt Disney World Resort, and one of the most exciting changes is the long-awaited return of the Disney Dining plan.

In May 2023, Disney World announced the return of the dining plans, beginning on January 9, 2024. Booking for the plans began on May 31, 2023, for vacations beginning on or after January 9, 2024. Disney World Quick-Service dining plans run $57 for adults and $24 for kids (ages 3 to 9), and the Disney Dining plan, which includes one meal at a table-service dining venue, runs $94 for adults and $30 for kids.

But beginning January 3, 2024, a free dining plan will be available for Disney+ subscribers who purchase select vacation packages at Disney World. Here are all the details about the new offer:

Starting January 3, 2024, Disney+ subscribers can get a FREE dining plan when purchasing a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option. This offer is valid for arrivals most nights from July 1, 2024 through September 30, 2024.

Guests can visit DisneyWorld.com/SpecialOffers beginning on January 3, 2024, for additional information about this brand-new offer. Other perks are also available to Disney+ subscribers. More information can be found by clicking here.

  1. These non discounted room ‘free’ dining plans do not seem worth it. There are so many good discounts on rooms and packages that it costs less to get another special and pay for your food

  2. I’m a DVC member and an annual Passholder.

We pay a lot for both of the above and we get
NO discounts on these dining packages.

It would be nice if Disney rewards a free Dining package once a year
for guest who already spends a lot.

    1. I agree 100%. As an annual passholder we go at least 4-5 times during the year and stay on premises hotels. We should get some better benefits. Also they should bring back Tables in Wonderland.
