A decades-old Walt Disney World Resort animatronic was recently filmed singing a vulgar song and swearing. The clip spread like wildfire on X (formerly Twitter).
Earlier this year, Patrick Spikes (@PatTheThief) shared a video of what appears to be an old Dreamfinder audio-animatronic singing “WAP” by Cardi B feat. Megan Thee Stallion. The tune, obviously, isn’t something the animatronic character would’ve sung during his tenure at Walt Disney World Resort!
I’m so sorry about this.

Dreamfinder is part of EPCOT’s Journey Into Imagination With Figment attraction. The decades-old attraction has had three separate iterations since it opened in 1983, and Dreamfinder’s presence has been removed from the current version.
The video reached over 32,000 views and mesmerized Disney Parks fans, especially nostalgic Journey Into Imagination With Figment fans.
“Love it! Glad he’s up and going!” @NixSterlin86252 replied.

Patrick Spikes isn’t just any social media user. The former Walt Disney World Resort cast member was arrested in 2019 and charged with burglary and grand theft, among other offenses. He and an accomplice reportedly stole tens of thousands in merchandise from the Central Florida Disney parks and sold it online, making at least $30,000.
Both men pled guilty in 2020 and paid restitution to Disney and multiple buyers of the stolen merchandise. Spikes was also given ten years probation, 250 hours of community service, and permanently banned from Walt Disney World Resort.
How Spikes obtained the Dreamfinder head is unclear. However, @PatTheThief’s profile picture appears to show Spikes with the animatronic head, confirming that he owns it. Walt Disney World Resort occasionally sells or auctions off old park memorabilia, so it’s not unreasonable to suggest that Spikes obtained the animatronic legally.
