Guests Terrified as “Disney Adults” Attempt to Sink Ride Boat

One of the really fun reasons to celebrate the holidays at Disneyland Resort is because some of the park’s most iconic attractions receive holiday overlays. The Haunted Mansion becomes Haunted Mansion Holiday. And, over in Fantasyland, “it’s a small world” becomes “it’s a small world” Holiday. Guests love riding the attractions when they have their holiday themes, so wait times can get relatively high.

“it’s a small world” Holiday combines the classic attraction with the magic of Christmas. It is typically such a fun and relaxing experience that can really get you in the holiday spirit. Unfortunately, some guests decided to ruin the attraction for everyone else.

Disney Scoop Guy shared a video on TikTok of several people purposefully rocking their boat back and forth. According to the TikTok video, it appeared that the “Disney adults” were purposefully trying to get the boat to take on water. They did not seem to care that there were other people in the same boat who would not appreciate having the boat flood.

According to Matt (aka Disney Scoop Guy), that wasn’t even the worst of it. He said that the “adults” in question also grabbed onto the side platform to rock the boat even more. Then, they purposefully stopped the boat, nearly causing two boats to collide.

Commenters were both shocked and disgusted by the behavior exhibited by the theme park guests. Many wondered why an announcement wasn’t made for them to stop. Disney has cameras everywhere, and cast members have been known to use the intercom system to let guests know to stop their disruptive behavior. One comment read,

“How were they not getting yelled at. My siblings rocked to the music and got yelled at on the PA system”

Others felt that the people would be the kind to sue Disney if the boat actually tipped, and they got hurt:

“What idiots. They think it’s fun n games till someone gets hurt. And then they try and sue. Did u report them?”

We do not know what happened to the guests after they disembarked, but many were hoping that they were approached by Disney and banned for their dangerous actions:

“I hope these idiots got banned. Ruin the experience for families and children around them”

What’s said is that this is not the first wild and crazy thing to happen on “it’s a small world” recently.

Just days after Thanksgiving, guests were shocked when a man climbed out of the boat, stripped down naked, and climbed over the animatronics. Anaheim Police were called and had to chase the man through the ride. Then ended up capturing him and had to lift him into the air to escort him from the area.

Police arrested the naked man and charged him with public indecency and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

It is important to note that, while visiting Disneyland, you agree to follow a set of policies and procedures. It is against the rules to put others in dangerous or unsafe positions. Those who violate Disney’s rules may be asked to leave the park. If the behavior is particularly egregious, they may even be banned from visiting a Disney park in the future.
