Visiting Disneyland Paris is always a treat, especially when you’re a big fan of both the Disney and Marvel worlds. On my latest trip, I wasn’t expecting to be whisked away on a Deadpool & Wolverine-themed adventure—yet there I was, smack dab in the middle of a surprisingly immersive experience tied to two of the most iconic superheroes.
The story begins at Sequoia Lodge, where my wife and I were staying. We decided to venture over to the Disney Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel for a change of pace and a few drinks at the Skyline Bar. Marvel-themed cocktails? Count us in. As we sat enjoying our drinks, I noticed our waiter was sporting an intriguing Deadpool & Wolverine pin. Naturally, my curiosity got the best of me, and I asked where he got it. His response was cryptic, yet exciting—it led us to discover a hidden experience right there in the hotel.

Apparently, we weren’t the only ones who had stumbled onto this secret. With the help of a QR code (conveniently displayed in the lobby near a Deadpool & Wolverine poster), we made a reservation for the following night. A mysterious adventure, promising all things Deadpool & Wolverine, awaited us. Who could say no to that?
The next evening, we followed the instructions given by the concierge, which led us to an unassuming broom closet on the sixth floor, complete with Deadpool graffiti. After a few cheeky exchanges with the Cast Member behind a tiny hatch, we were invited into what can only be described as an exclusive Marvel fan’s dream: a VIP room filled with Deadpool & Wolverine memorabilia, all carefully curated to transport you straight into their chaotic world.

This entire experience is not just a clever nod to the fandom—it’s clearly a way to celebrate the enormous success of both Deadpool and Logan, two films that not only revived interest in the X-Men universe but also managed to break records. Deadpool’s surprising box office dominance, grossing over $780 million worldwide on a modest budget, and Logan’s critically acclaimed farewell to Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine (with a haul of over $619 million globally), solidified both films as critical and financial triumphs. It’s no wonder Disneyland Paris jumped on the opportunity to pay homage to these two iconic characters.
Inside the room, we found an array of Easter eggs. From Wolverine’s claws to Deadpool’s quirky memorabilia—complete with marshmallow-topped drinks (because Deadpool) and an ice cube featuring his face—it was everything a Marvel fan could hope for. The highlight? A walk down memory lane with a soundtrack fit for the Merc with a Mouth himself, including, of course, George Michael’s “Careless Whisper.”
The experience didn’t stop there. A final surprise waited behind a door, hyped up by the staff as a big reveal. But in true Deadpool style, we opened it only to find a small bathroom. Classic.
While this is currently a temporary offering, it wouldn’t be surprising if it became a more permanent feature at Disneyland Paris, given the continued love for Deadpool & Wolverine. After all, with box office numbers like that, why wouldn’t you want to celebrate these two fan-favorite anti-heroes?
Whether you’re a casual fan or a die-hard Marvel enthusiast, this experience was a reminder of just how much these characters have reshaped the superhero genre—and how much fun it is to be a part of their world, even if it’s just for a drink and a laugh.
