DC’s New ‘Batman’ Reboot Officially Reveals Full Cast, Includes the Dark Knight, The Joker, and Catwoman
Batman fans have no shortage of upcoming projects to look forward to as DC continues expanding the Dark Knight across film, animation, gaming, and the rebooted DC Universe.
Matt Reeves’ The Batman—Part II remains in development ahead of its planned 2027 theatrical release, while The Brave and the Bold is expected to introduce a brand-new Caped Crusader into DC Studios’ shared continuity alongside Superman (2025).
An animated adaptation of Batman: Knightfall is also in development, giving fans yet another interpretation of Gotham City’s most iconic hero.

But while attention remains fixed on the future of Batman on the big screen, another major project quietly arrived last week with a surprisingly massive cast attached.
The full cast for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight (2026) has now officially been confirmed following the game’s May 22 launch.
We already knew that Shai Matheson and Matt Berry would voice Batman and Bane, but the rest of the lineup was confirmed through a social media post shared by Matheson on release day.
“MEET THE CAST! LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is out TODAY, and we wanted to introduce you to the heroes and villains of Gotham City and the people that brought them to life,” Matheson wrote on Instagram. “Performances cast, recorded and directed at @sideglobal.”

Cast members include Colin McFarlane as Jim Gordon, Rich Keeble as Two-Face, Clara Emanuel as Catwoman, Savannah Beckford as Batgirl, Greg Jones as Robin, Harry Myers as Alfred, Ewan Bailey as The Joker, Ian Conningham as The Penguin, Alexandra Guelff as Poison Ivy, Oliver Senton as Mr. Freeze, and Matthew Curtis as The Riddler.
Set in its own standalone DC universe, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight features an open-world Gotham City filled with iconic Batman locations, including Arkham Asylum and Ace Chemicals. Players can also access classic vehicles such as the Batmobile and Batcycle while controlling multiple characters from across Batman lore.
Developed by TT Games and Warner Bros. Games, the open-world LEGO title is a celebration of Batman’s cinematic history, drawing inspiration from Tim Burton’s Batman films, Joel Schumacher’s colorful entries, Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, Zack Snyder’s DCEU films (also known as the “Snyderverse”), and Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
The game also incorporates elements from DC Comics, particularly the publisher’s newer Absolute Batman series.
“Step into the cowl of the Dark Knight and unite Gotham’s greatest heroes in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight,” the official synopsis reads. “Explore a vast open-world Gotham City, battle iconic villains, and experience a celebration of Batman’s legendary history across film, comics, and animation.”
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version planned for a later release.
