Need a jolt of energy for your day of park adventures at Animal Kingdom? Head to Creature Comforts in Discovery Island, the Animal Kingdom Starbucks location, for your morning coffee.
Location
This coffee shop is located in Animal Kingdom’s Discovery Island, near Terra Treats and the Pizzafari restaurant. While grabbing a morning coffee, guests will have a magnificent view of the Tree of Life.
Quick Service or Table Service?
Creature Comforts is Animal Kingdom’s Quick Service Starbucks location. This means that guests are able to walk up to the counter to order their coffee and sweets. The coffee shop serves pastries and beverages from 7:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Atmosphere
This dining location is known to get pretty busy, especially in the early morning and around lunchtime. The restaurant is African-themed, with decorations that include African-inspired art and design. As the Disney parks Starbucks locations go, this is one of our favorites when it comes to atmosphere and theming.
Menu Options
Creature Comforts offers many classic Starbucks drinks and eats. Guests will find featured drinks like the frozen coffee Frappucinos, Starbucks Refreshers, cold brew, hot coffee, Teavana tea, the Pink Drink, and specialty beverages like lattes and macchiatos. Additionally, the menu offers an assortment of breakfast sandwiches and signature pastries. Guests can find the complete menu on the My Disney Experience app.
Many dining and merchandise locations in Disney’s Animal Kingdom offer the opportunity for Guests to donate to the Disney Conservation Fund; Creature Comforts is no exception. Currently, when guests order any size Flat White latte, a portion of the proceeds are donated to Disney’s Conservation Fund to help the cotton-top tamarins.
Dining Tips
Though Creature Comforts is a Starbucks location, it does not offer all of the features of a Starbucks location outside of the Disney Parks. Guests are not able to order ahead on the Starbucks app or redeem loyalty stars at the locations inside the Disney Parks. If you have been saving your Starbucks rewards for vacation, head to the Starbucks locations at Disney Springs, where you can redeem them for free drinks and merchandise.
If you have a busy Park Day and you don’t want to spend time waiting in the Starbucks line at Creature Comforts, try out Joffrey’s Coffee instead. Guests will find Joffrey’s Coffee kiosks at Animal Kingdom’s main entrance in Asia and Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery in Africa.
