If you’ve had your eye on Lightning Lane Premier Pass for a Magic Kingdom visit this Saturday, we have some disappointing news. Disney’s top-tier line-skipping option is sold out for October 3, 2026, making it one of the earliest dates in October to reach capacity at Walt Disney World’s flagship park.
Premier Pass selling out at Magic Kingdom isn’t brand new territory. Still, the reasons behind this particular Saturday are clear, and they’re worth understanding if you’re planning an October trip.

First, a Quick Refresher
If you haven’t used it before, Lightning Lane Premier Pass lets you use the Lightning Lane entrance once at each participating attraction. You don’t need to book return times, so you can tackle rides in any order. It’s also the most expensive line-skipping product Disney offers, and prices move up and down based on demand.
Over the next four weeks, Magic Kingdom’s Premier Pass prices fall anywhere between $299 and $429. Today, October 1, is sitting at the low end at $299, while a handful of mid-October dates have already jumped to $429. October 3 is now marked as sold out.
Reason One: You Get a Really Long Day
Time is the big one here. On October 3, Early Theme Park Entry starts at 7:30 a.m., regular park opening follows at 8 a.m., and the park doesn’t close until 11 p.m. That’s about as long as Magic Kingdom’s operating day gets.
You can thank Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for that. On many October nights, the separately ticketed party takes over the park, and Magic Kingdom closes to regular day guests at 6 p.m. But on non-party days like October 3, Disney has moved Early Entry earlier and pushed closing back from the usual 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. That adds up to a 15-and-a-half-hour window.

Reason Two: Nobody’s Sending You Home Early
If you’re paying for Premier Pass, a party-free day is a huge plus. On party dates, day guests have to wrap things up and leave by 6 p.m. so the event can get started. On October 3, though, you’ve got the entire day and evening to work through the attraction list however you like.
That means time for a midday break, a relaxing sit-down meal, or another spin on your favorite rides after dark, without an early deadline hanging over you. And since Premier Pass is priced per day, every extra hour in the park stretches your dollar further.
Reason Three: The Price Was Right
Finally, there’s cost. October 3 sold out at $379, the lowest Saturday price of any upcoming weekend currently on sale. Saturdays on October 10 and October 17 are both listed at $429, so that’s $50 more per person.
If you’re a family of four, that’s $200 in savings for one day. Longer hours and a lower price? It’s not hard to see why weekend visitors jumped on it.

Visiting Magic Kingdom this weekend without a Premier Pass? You may still be able to grab Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass, and Premier Pass for Sunday, October 4, is currently available at $379.
If your trip falls later in the month, keep a close watch on non-party dates, since those extended-hour days are likely to be the most in demand. And if Premier Pass is part of your plan, booking as early as you can is still your safest move.
