Disneyland Blocks off Adventureland Area, Guests Not Allowed In
On Tuesday, Disneyland Resort guests arrived at the original Southern California Disney park to find construction walls blocking portions of Adventureland near Indiana Jones Adventure. Here’s everything we know about the project.
Construction Walls Block Portions of Adventureland at Disneyland Park

On May 26, WDWNT reported that wooden fencepost-style construction walls had appeared between Indiana Jones Adventure and the Adventureland Treehouse at Disneyland Park. The outlet spotted a Disney cast member working in the area, wearing a construction mask to avoid breathing in hazardous gases or fibers.
Crews appear to be working with concrete and “adjusting pipes in the area.” Water in the nearby little river is standing still, not flowing, indicating that Disney cast members turned off the active water flow to the area. It’s unclear whether crews are working on the river or whether the water is simply off for an unrelated project.

The wooden fence only stretches through a small portion of Adventureland between the Treehouse and Indiana Jones Adventure. At this time, both attractions remain open and available to Disneyland Park guests. Portions of the ongoing work are visible from around the wall and inside the Adventureland Treehouse.
Disneyland Resort has not publicly acknowledged this project or given a completion timeline, which is typical for minor maintenance projects. It’s unclear whether Southern California Disney Park guests will notice visible changes to the Adventureland area when this work is complete.
Explore the Adventureland Treehouse

The Adventureland Treehouse is a walkthrough attraction that pays homage to the original treehouse designed for Disneyland Park by Walt Disney and his Imagineers in 1962. Unlike Indiana Jones Adventure, the self-guided attraction rarely has a standby wait, and offers the perfect opportunity for guests of all ages to burn off some energy between Lightning Lanes and Table-Service dining reservations.
