This Magic Kingdom staple has just received an update that is truly out of this world.
When it comes to Walt Disney World, many Guests may not immediately think of thrill rides. In fact, each Walt Disney World theme park has gained a reputation as a “baby park” due to the company’s family-friendly nature.
However, more exciting attractions can be found all throughout Walt Disney World Resort. In EPCOT, the latest roller coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, is a thrill ride unlike anything Guests have ever seen before.
Hollywood Studios has thrilling attractions such as Slinky Dog Dash, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
Animal Kingdom hosts Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, and DINOSAUR is one of the most frightening dark rides.
Magic Kingdom is no different, hosting classic roller coasters like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Space Mountain. However, Space Mountain recently received a significant change…

About a month ago, we reported on a new paint job that the classic Tomorrowland roller coaster received, which turned the futuristic blue into a…boring beige.
Luckily, the most recent change is much more fitting and exciting than that, and almost makes up for such an uncharacteristic change. Almost.

Over in Magic Kingdom’s Space Mountain, the floors of the loading dock have been updated. Now, as Guests step onto the ride vehicle, they’ll truly feel as if they’re about to travel throughout the galaxy.
With the addition of TRON Lightcycle Run into Tomorrowland, it seems as if the entire themed area is slowly but surely undergoing a revamp. Stay tuned to Disney Dining to see if any more changes are made.
