Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Paradiso 37

So, I got an invitation, not just any invitation, a Disney invitation. And not just a Disney invitation, an invitation to check out the Cinco de Mayo offerings at Paradiso 37 in Disney Springs. The restaurant takes part of its name from the 37 North, Central, and South American countries that the cuisine is inspired by.

Now I have to admit, this has always been one of my favorite places to dine in Disney Springs, formally Downtown Disney. With all the expansion and new restaurants being introduced at DS, it could be easy to forget how truly great this place is.

I am not sure where to start. I guess the appetizers are a good place. The appetizers are SO good, I am always tempted to just get my fill of them and skip any of the main courses. (Big mistake, I only made it once.)

Here are just a few of the things we sampled. See pictures below.

Paradiso 37 will be offering their full menu for Cinco de Mayo, which includes the dishes that were part of the tasting, plus one special dish: Fried Snapper! There will also be a margarita cart offering margaritas for $16 each, and a live Mariachi band to begin performing at 5 p.m.

We did a live stream of the restaurant during the event, which you can see HERE. Amazing Views BTW!

P.S. Don’t miss the β€œtequila tower” stacked with 37 varietiesβ€”each 100% agave the main bar.

Tips – If it’s cool enough, I highly recommend sitting outside. The view of the lake, Saratoga Springs, and Characters in Flight along with the live nightly entertainment is great.

About Rick Killingsworth

Rick visited the Magic Kingdom in 1971 for the first Christmas parade in their history. At nine years old, he was bitten by the Disney Bug. He can still remember the sights, the smells, and the sounds. It truly was magical. It would be twenty years before he could afford to take his young family back to β€œThe World.” It was the vacation of a lifetime, and they have been fortunate to go hundreds of times since. His daughters, now grown, still tear up when they see the castle (as does he).
