Disney Springs is home to many amazing dining locations, including the popular Wine Bar George that perfectly combines an upscale décor with hundreds of wine options and delicious small bites. Located in The Landing area of Disney Springs, Wine Bar George is run by Master Sommelier George Miliotes and welcomes Guests each day for lunch and dinner as well as brunch on the weekends.

The exterior of Wine Bar George evokes an upscale modern and industrial vibe with plenty of exposed brick, matte black trim details, and deep red awnings above the windows. The interior continues the atmosphere with more exposed brick, industrial lighting and seating, exposed ducts, and a massive concrete bar on the first floor. Upstairs, more seating can be found on an outdoor patio overlooking Disney Springs as well as an indoor area with a high vaulted wooden ceiling and hanging exposed industrial bulbs.

The masterful mix of industrial and cozy makes Guests always feel welcome at Wine Bar George, and it is clear that wine is the star in the restaurant with visible wine racks in nearly every room. In fact, there are over one hundred and forty wine options from around the world available by the bottle, the glass, and the ounce, all of which were handpicked by Miliotes himself.

The wine menu can understandably be overwhelming, but the Cast Members who work at Wine Bar George are exceptionally knowledgeable about all of the options and can help Guests choose the best option for them based upon their preferences and price points.

The wine menu features several categories including Outstanding by the Ounce Whites and Reds, George’s Finds, Reds broken down by Barbera, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Gamay, Grignolino, Malbec, Merlot, and others.

The Whites are broken down by Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Dessert Whites. There is also a selection of champagne, beer, cider, and specialty cocktails.

Many Guests who visit Wine Bar George also love to indulge in specialty frozen drinks that come with a complimentary Corkcicle glass. The popular Frose combines rose, vodka, and strawberries, and Dole Whips are given an adult twist with the Frozcato Mimosa made with Dole Whip Pineapple, Moscato, and Prosecco and the Frozcato made with Dole Whip Pineapple, Moscato, and vodka.

Moving on to food, Wine Bar George’s menu focuses mainly on a selection of small plates, shareable boards, and a limited selection of main plates. The Wine Country Brunch each Saturday and Sunday can start with Guests ordering up small bites such as House-made Hummus served with cucumber, olive oil, naan bread, and chipotle and Frisée Salad with seasonal fruit, orange vinaigrette, blue cheese, and walnuts.

For more indulgent small bites, Guests can order up the very popular Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites which are perfectly fried and served with a tomato nage and pecorino. These are meant to share, but no one will want to after their first bite! The final small bite offered at Wine Bar George’s brunch is the Kendall Brook Smoked Salmon which is accompanied by a ciabatta crisp, crème Fraiche, and fried capers.

The main plates offered at the Wine Country Brunch feature classics like French Toast with brioche, mascarpone, and caramel sauce, Eggs Benedict with house-made chicken sausage, hollandaise, and house-made biscuits, and the Wine Country Omelet featuring asparagus, artichokes, olive and tomato medley, and Havarti cheese.

Some more indulgent options on the brunch menu include the Fried Chicken Biscuit with pimento cheese, bacon relish, and a sunny side egg, and the Steak and Egg Frites with mouthwatering skirt steak, eggs, and a spicy sriracha hollandaise. The final meat-based item for brunch is the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits which come with house-made biscuits and bacon and the option to add eggs for an additional fee.

The Wine Country Brunch menu item that many Guests love to try and talk about at Wine Bar George is an indulgent cheese that pairs perfectly with any wine on the menu. The Burrata is buttery soft and creamy and comes served on crispy ciabatta with avocado and bacon, making it a decadent and delicious brunch option.

The lunch and dinner menus at Wine Bar George are identical, aside from several options that are only offered during each meal period. The exclusive lunch options are a Chicken Salad Sandwich with roasted tomatoes on brioche bread served with house-made chips, Steak Frites featuring skirt steak served with a caramelized onion aioli and fries, and the BLT + C which tops brioche bread with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and a four-cheese sauce with a side of fries.

The dinner menu at Wine Bar George features two exclusive entrée options that are equally delicious and filling. The Santa Carota Short Ribs are melt-in-your-mouth and are accompanied by a red potato mash and caramelized vegetables and the Bell & Evans Chicken Breast is moist and juicy and served with exotic mushrooms, caulilini, and a Yukon hash.

While entrées are always an option, the menu at Wine Bar George is designed more for Guests to dig into small bites that are great for sharing over a few glasses of wine. The Small Plates menu at lunch and dinner features the same House-made Hummus, Frisee Salad, and Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites as the brunch menu as well as an array of other options.

Lighter options on the Small Bites menu include the Warm Spiced Olives that are flavored with lemon and chili peppers and the Grilled Romaine that is topped with Anna’s dressing and a pecorino wafer. Heartier options include the House-made Meatballs served over a bed of triple-cheese polenta and tomato sauce, the Iberico Pork Pluma with shaved Brussels sprouts and blackberry gastrique, and the Grilled Octopus Salad topped with a lemon vinaigrette and olive vegetable medley.

Since nothing goes better with wine than cheese, there are also two cheese-based options on the Small Bites menu that are served for lunch and dinner at Wine Bar George. The Burrata features the same creamy and delicious cheese as the brunch option but is served with seasonal tomatoes, olive oil, and grilled bread. The Saganaki on Fire is a truly unique choice as it features a block of Vlahoriti cheese lit on fire with Metaxa and served with crostini for dipping.

Cheese plates and charcuterie also pair perfectly with wine, and Wine Bar George features three boards that are served during all meal periods that are the ultimate in sampling. The Artisanal Cheese Board features a selection of four artisanal cheeses served with an array of condiments, and the Charcuterie Board features a selection of four artisanal meats paired with an array of condiments.

Guests looking to enjoy the ultimate indulgence to share for brunch, lunch, or dinner should order up the impressive Big Board. The Big Board is a massive platter of six artisanal cheeses, five artisanal meats, and various condiments including bread, mustard, nuts, and more. Guests who are looking to share a heartier main course can opt for two family-style plates that serve between two and four Guests. The Skirt Steak is cooked to Guests’ preferences and is served with roasted potatoes, chimichurri, and seasonal vegetables and the Grilled Whole Greek Sea Bass is a stunning presentation with cannellini bean ragout and seasonal vegetables.
