Brand-New ‘Ninja Turtles’ Movie Now Available To Watch!

Paramount has officially released a brand-new TMNT movie in theaters.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Chrome Alone 2 – Lost in New Jersey has been released alongside the feature film The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, bringing the half-shell heroes back to the big screen for the first time in two years since 2023’s box-office hit Mutant Mayhem, with this new short continuing the adventures of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael established in that film. Directed by Kent Seki, the seven-minute short reunites the creative team behind 2023’s 3D animated reboot, Mutant Mayhem. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Jeff Rowe return as producers, with Rowe set to direct the upcoming Mutant Mayhem 2, which is set for release in 2027. The voice cast also returns, including Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Micah Abbey as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, and Brady Noon as Raphael.

The release comes amid significant shifts with Paramount’s TMNT franchise. The animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was recently canceled after two seasons (Season 2 is now streaming on Paramount+). Plans for a film adaptation of The Last Ronin have also been shelved as part of a broader reorganization of the studio’s TMNT projects.

But despite these changes, the long-running franchise has two major theatrical projects still moving forward. In addition to Chrome Alone 2 – Lost in New Jersey, Mutant Mayhem 2 is slated for release in late 2027, and Paramount Pictures has now announced a new CG/live-action hybrid reboot that will replace The Last Ronin, targeting a late 2028 release.

Chrome Alone 2 – Lost in New Jersey continues to balance humor, action, and the camaraderie that has long defined the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, while giving audiences a taste of what to expect in the next official sequel. The film follows the Turtles as they track down an AI villain who’s making knock-off toys of them in New Jersey.

Fans can experience the film now in theaters alongside Paramount’s SpongeBob release, marking the latest chapter in the Turtles’ evolving cinematic presence.
