Bluey May Be Headed to Disney World Sooner Than Anyone Expected

For years, mornings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios have followed a predictable, adorable pattern. Families with young kids grabbed their Mickey waffles, settled in at Hollywood & Vine, and enjoyed a breakfast filled with giggles, dancing, and visits from beloved Disney Junior characters. But that familiar routine has now officially changed—and many fans think they know why.

An Era Ends at Hollywood & Vine

Hollywood & Vine has quietly removed its Disney Junior character breakfast from the lineup, closing the door on a family favorite. Characters like Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, and Doc McStuffins are no longer greeting guests at their tables, leaving parents and kids a little stunned. For many families, this wasn’t just another character meal—it was one of the easiest and most magical ways to start a park day.

Instead, Minnie Mouse and friends are now taking over breakfast, dressed in seasonal outfits starting with a Halloween theme. The menu hasn’t changed, but the atmosphere has shifted from high-energy and kid-focused to more of a classic Disney character vibe.

Disney Junior Play and Dance Also Says Goodbye

This isn’t happening in a vacuum. The Disney Junior Play and Dance! show ended on September 25, 2025, after more than two decades. The soundstage where it was housed is currently closed for transformation as Disney reimagines the Magic of Disney Animation experience. With this major family-friendly offering gone, fans are looking for clues as to what comes next—and they might have found one.

A Big Bluey Entrance?

When the news dropped that Disney Junior was being phased out of the park, many fans immediately started pointing to a certain blue heeler. Bluey has become a cultural phenomenon for preschoolers and parents alike, and Disney has already teased the character’s arrival in some form. The timing couldn’t be more perfect: a major family space is closing, and a globally beloved character is waiting in the wings.

A meet-and-greet or themed breakfast with Bluey would be a slam dunk for Disney. She already has a loyal fanbase, her presence fits perfectly with the park’s family-friendly offerings, and she’d more than fill the void left by the Disney Junior crew.

Disney’s Pattern of Refreshing Experiences

This wouldn’t be the first time Disney refreshed a character experience to reflect current trends. Over the years, the company has phased out older characters to make room for new favorites that reflect what kids are actually watching at home. With massive changes already underway at Hollywood Studios, Bluey’s arrival could be closer than anyone expected.

For now, Minnie’s breakfast is holding the spot. But if the past is any indicator, it won’t be long before a new character takes center stage—and Bluey seems like the perfect fit.
