Best Quick-Service Spots Around Epcot’s World Showcase at Walt Disney World

By far the best place to get quick-service food in all of Walt Disney World is the World Showcase at Epcot. We love the incredible variety found here, and we find that the quality of the food served at these counter-service locations is quite good. That said, some of the World Showcase counter-service restaurants are even better than others. In this article we will discuss (in no particular order) our favorite quick-service locations in this area of Epcot. These are all wonderful choices, and we’re sure you’ll be happy with any one of them.

1. Tangierine Cafe (Morocco Pavilion)

The perfect place to go for a unique meal with plenty of foreign flavors, Tangierine Cafe is a wonderful choice. The food here is adventurous enough to please those looking for something new, while also offering safer choices for the picky eaters out there. This Mediterranean eatery serves up such favorites as shawarma, kebabs, and hummus, as well as a delicious baklava. Portion sizes are large, prices are relatively low, and everything we’ve tried has been awesome. This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting.

2. Katsura Grill (Japan Pavilion)

Another relatively adventurous meal option is Katsura Grill. Here you’ll find teriyaki, curry dishes, edamame, miso soup, green tea-flavored desserts, and other Japanese favorites. We appreciate that while the food is different from the typical burgers and nuggets, it isn’t too out there, meaning there is something that everyone can enjoy on the menu. Additionally, we love that this restaurant is tucked into the back of the Japan Pavilion in the middle of the Japanese garden, making it a great place to escape the crowds and relax for a bit. We highly recommend sitting outside and enjoying the pond and plants while you eat.

3. Kringla Bakeri og Kafe (Norway Pavilion)

Even though it is technically more of a bakery than a full-fledged restaurant, we still think Kringla Bakeri og Kafe deserves a place on our list. Why? Their School Bread and Troll Horns, along with all kinds of other delicious baked goods that you simply must try while visiting the park. Of course, you can’t fill up on sweet treats alone. Fortunately, the sandwiches at this eatery are almost as delicious as the desserts, meaning you can grab a Norwegian Club or ham-and-apple sandwich before enjoying your baked good(s). Don’t forget a Nordic Draft Beer to wash it all down!

4. Les Halles Boulangerie & Pâtisserie (France Pavilion)

Another place that might be considered more bakery than restaurant is Les Halles Boulangerie & Pâtisserie. Nevertheless, this quick-service joint definitely earns a place on our list, as it offers some of the best baked goods on Disney property. The eatery serves up all kinds of French goodies such as the Napoleon and yummy chocolate croissants, which can be enjoyed with one of the shop’s gourmet coffee drinks. For your meal, you might choose to enjoy a quiche, a salad, a sandwich, or some incredible soup. No matter what you choose, you’re sure to leave with a smile on your face.

5. Yorkshire County Fish Shop (United Kingdom Pavilion)

Truly the one bad thing about Yorkshire County Fish Shop is the fact that they don’t serve more types of food. You see, the menu is very short, and we do so love what is served here that we only wish we had more to choose from. What this walk-up counter does have is fish and fries, and we find that they are just perfect and quite close to what you might order in London. While the menu is short and sweet, it does include some delicious draft beers, as well as a wonderful Victoria’s Sponge Cake. Both compliment the fish and chips just perfectly, giving you the ideal meal to enjoy as you explore the UK pavilion and all its fun little shops and gardens.

6. Regal Eagle Smokehouse (America Pavilion)

Finally, there is the brand new Regal Eagle Smokehouse. This restaurant just opened in the America Pavilion, taking the place of Liberty Inn. Fortunately, this barbecue joint stands head and shoulders above its predecessor. In fact, it might just be our new favorite quick-service restaurant in the World Showcase. Regal Eagle serves up all kinds of smoked meat, including a fabulous smoked sausage and some pulled pork that is to die for. The beans, pickles, fries, onion rings, and mac & cheese all make wonderful sides, and the banana pudding is the perfect sweet finish to a fabulous meal. This is a stop you’re definitely going to want to make on your next trip.

Clearly, the World Showcase does not disappoint when it comes to quick-service foods. Try one or two of these on your next visit, or give all of these a try and decide for yourself which one is best!
