If you’ve kept up to date with Walt Disney World news recently, then you’ll know that the massive Resort recently finished celebrating its 50th anniversary.
That means that for over 50 years, the Magic Kingdom theme park has been delighting and dazzling Guests.

Magic Kingdom is home to classic, quintessential Disney experiences. From attractions such as “it’s a small world,” the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Jungle Cruise, to parades and nighttime spectaculars, there’s a good reason for Magic Kingdom’s popularity among Guests.

But the Disney Park isn’t just home to slow-moving dark rides. Magic Kingdom is also home to roller coaster attractions that thrill Guests of all ages. Attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train have all been thrilling Guests for years, some longer than others!

According to the official Walt Disney World app (My Disney Experience), Space Mountain is listed as “Temporarily Unavailable.”
There are a number of reasons for this indoor roller coaster’s “Temporarily Unavailable” status. It could be anything from technical difficulties to general wear and tear acquired from age.
Although we’re unsure as to what’s causing this indoor roller coaster’s outage, we’re sure of one thing: this attraction will likely be up and running soon.

Here’s a quick tip! If you’ve ever wanted to see what Space Mountain looks like with the lights on, be sure to hop onto the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, which will take Guests right into the belly of the indoor roller coaster, even when the lights are on.
