Altercation Goes Down on Way to Disney World Hollywood Studios Park
At Walt Disney World Resort, where families from around the globe come to create magical memories, sometimes even a routine bus ride can take an unexpected turn. That’s exactly what happened on the morning of July 2, when a guest staying at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort found themselves at the center of an argument over boarding etiquette on a Disney transport bus.
The guest, accompanied by two children, was boarding a bus en route to Disney’s Hollywood Studios when a miscommunication with another family caused tensions to flare. According to their account, a group with a stroller at the front of the line appeared to step aside, seemingly to prepare the stroller for boarding. Seizing the open space, the guest and their children boarded the bus, only to be confronted moments later by members of that same party, already seated, who accused them of cutting in line and “shoving” their way on.
Despite trying to explain that they hadn’t skipped anyone and that it’s common to keep the boarding line moving, the guest was met with escalating frustration. One of the women’s husbands stepped in to de-escalate, urging her to set a better example. The guest later took to social media to share the experience and ask the community whether they were at fault—or just caught in a misunderstanding.
The story has already generated a surge of responses online, with over 130 comments at the time of writing. Most replies strongly supported the original poster (OP), pointing to standard Disney transportation norms.
One user, Colt_kun, who identified as a former cast member, wrote: “This is what we want you to do. Keep the line moving! They can’t hold up the line because they weren’t prepared. The whole party should have waited TBH.”
Others echoed the sentiment. ghost_of_apaol commented: “Nah you’re good. They should’ve been ready with the stroller when it was their turn. They did the right thing by moving to the side. But the ladies were way out of line.”
User pHpositive added: “This is the hold up for the buses everywhere… You didn’t cut. I direct others around these guests all the time.”
Some users even shared relatable moments of stroller trouble. Smasher31232 offered: “You’re in the right. As someone who recently somehow forgot to fold his stroller right before getting on the bus, the idea that people would wait behind me is slightly mortifying. The moving aside is the universal ‘whoops, sorry’ gesture.”
This isn’t the first time tension has surfaced at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Just last year, a fistfight was reported near the Avatar Flight of Passage attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Similar disputes over perceived line-cutting have been documented at international Disney parks, including a scuffle at Disneyland Paris’ Walt Disney Studios Park that required cast member involvement.
Crowd management becomes especially delicate during nighttime spectaculars and parades, where families often stake out viewing spots hours in advance. While Disney discourages holding space for others, guests don’t always see eye to eye, particularly when someone joins a group late or unintentionally blocks the view. In one recent case, even social media influencers found themselves at the center of a disagreement over parade positioning.
Even amid the enchantment of Main Street, U.S.A. and the sparkle of Cinderella Castle, it’s worth remembering that everyone is trying to enjoy a magical day. As crowds, Florida heat, and long park hours accumulate, tempers can sometimes rise.

Encountered this issue years ago. This was how I proceeded. I just waited. Only when the bus driver motioned me to board did I. The driver was my guide.
If you’re not ready to board then the polite thing to do is let others pass until you are
