Viewers Stunned as Popular ABC Star is Suddenly Fired
For the past ten years, ABC News viewers have been able to tune in nearly every morning and every weekend to see the weather presented by popular meteorologist, Rob Marciano. Marciano has become a staple at the news network, giving viewers the most up-to-date information on some of the most severe weather we’ve seen. Marciano has headed to places being hit by wild weather and can often be seen braving hurricane-force winds, rising floodwaters, and severe snowstorms.
So, fans were absolutely shocked when it was announced on April 30 that Marciano was leaving ABC News, effective immediately.
According to sources who spoke to The New York Post, Marciano’s departure came after multiple complaints and reports of “anger management issues” finally became too much for ABC.
Veteran ABC News weatherman Rob Marciano was fired Tuesday — a year after temporarily getting yanked off the air for “anger management issues,” sources with knowledge told The Post.
Marciano, who appeared on “Good Morning America” and “World News Tonight” for a decade, made news last year amid complaints about his behavior over the years.

This is not the first time in recent weeks that Marciano’s behavior has made headlines. Last month, Page Six reported that Marciano had been banned from the Good Morning America studio nearly a year ago because he made a colleague feel “uncomfortable”.
Multiple sources tell Page Six that Marciano was “banned” from Times Square Studios, where the show shoots daily, after he made a colleague feel uncomfortable last year.
“He was found to have done something … that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return,” one insider told us.
In 2021, Rob Marciano and his wife of eleven years, Eryn, separated, and, in 2022, divorce proceedings began. It was his divorce that was reportedly the catalyst for his anger issues.
“He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period where there were some issues, a number of alarming events,” the second source claimed.
We’re told the network’s employee relations took Marciano off the air for a month following the alleged incident with a female colleague, but “GMA” executive producer Simone Swink “still won’t allow him back in [the studio],” several months later.
Simone Swink took over as executive producer at Good Morning America in 2021 after EP Michael Corn was driven out amid claims that he sexually assaulted multiple women. Because of the issues surrounding Corn’s departure, Ms. Swink is less likely to deal with staff or network stars who behave inappropriately.

Neither ABC nor Marciano have commented on his sudden firing.
Marciano began his national career in 2003, when he joined CNN and appeared on shows like The Situation Room and Anderson Cooper 360°. He remained at CNN for ten years before becoming the new co-anchor of Entertainment Tonight. Marciano was only there for about one year before moving to ABC in 2014, where he reported for both Good Morning America and World News Tonight.

shocked we loved him doing the weather reports and other stories better than GInger
He did such a great job presenting weather on ABC. These big corporations don’t care and employees are just a number. Shame on Disney!
It’s because of Rob and Ginger that we continued to watch ABC, it was bad enough that they let Amy & TJ go, two of the most down to earth personable anchors they had shame on ABC & Disney, they lose us as viewers now
I miss Rob. I am no longer watching GMA. They need to get rid of Ginger
