November is shaping up to be a busy month for Disney+ subscribers, with several familiar favorites returning alongside new programming.
However, one upcoming premiere could attract particular attention from fans who have followed a popular Disney original since its beginning.
The streaming service has confirmed another season of the series, complete with returning stars, new cast members, and a story inspired by a bestselling novel.
Disney has also released a trailer giving viewers a glimpse of what awaits when the next adventure begins.
With the premiere just weeks away, fans won’t have much longer to wait. And Disney has several other releases planned before November ends.
Disney+ Brings Back a Fan-Favorite Series
Disney has confirmed that Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will premiere November 20, 2026.
The streaming service will release two episodes immediately, followed by additional episodes as the season continues.
Based on Rick Riordan’s popular book series, the show follows Percy Jackson, a young demigod whose adventures bring him face-to-face with characters and creatures from Greek mythology.
The third season will adapt The Titan’s Curse, the third installment in Riordan’s original collection of novels.
Walker Scobell returns in the leading role, with Leah Sava Jeffries reprising Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri returning as Grover Underwood.
Charlie Bushnell will also appear again as Luke Castellan, while Tamara Smart returns as Thalia Grace.
For longtime fans of the books, the new season marks another important chapter as Disney continues adapting Percy’s original adventures.
And the returning characters won’t be facing their latest challenges alone.

Several Major Stars Join Season 3
Disney is expanding the cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians with several performers portraying characters from Greek mythology.
Among the new additions are Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo and Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo.
The siblings are familiar to readers of The Titan’s Curse, and their arrival introduces important new relationships into Percy’s story.
The season will also bring several Greek gods into the spotlight.
Ming-Na Wen will portray Hera, Jennifer Beals joins as Demeter, and Hubert Smielecki takes on the role of Apollo.
Kate McKinnon will appear as Aphrodite, while Holt McCallany will portray Atlas, a powerful Titan.
These additions will give viewers opportunities to meet more mythological figures as Percy’s adventures continue.
Disney’s trailer offers an early look at the upcoming season, giving audiences a taste of the challenges ahead without waiting until premiere day.

Disney Expands Its Plans for Rick Riordan’s Stories
Disney isn’t limiting its interest in Riordan’s work to Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
The company has also reached an agreement with Netflix that allows the first two seasons of the series to stream on the competing platform.
That limited three-month arrangement began October 4, giving new viewers another way to discover the show before Season 3 streams on Hulu and Disney+.
Meanwhile, Disney is considering another adaptation based on Riordan’s writing.
The Kane Chronicles, a trilogy centered on Egyptian mythology, is being developed as a potential live-action series on Disney+.
Riordan is collaborating with Angela Robinson, and Disney has commissioned sample scripts to explore how the story could work on television.
However, the company has not officially approved production, and no premiere date has been announced.
The project remains in the development stage, meaning its eventual release is not guaranteed.

More Entertainment Arrives Throughout November
While Percy Jackson’s return could become a major draw, Disney+ has plenty of other programming scheduled this month.
November 11 brings new Season 2 episodes of Pokémon the Series: The Beginning, followed by Season 1 of How the Tudors Lost Their Heads on November 17.
Country music fans can tune into the 60th Annual CMA Awards live on November 18, beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
Then, on November 25, Disney+ will release new Season 5 episodes of Big City Greens.
These additions offer a range of entertainment, from animated adventures to historical programming and live television.
For subscribers looking forward to Percy Jackson and the Olympians, though, November 20 remains an especially important date.
With familiar characters returning, new mythological figures entering the story, and another beloved novel coming to television, Season 3 could give fans plenty to discuss as November continues.
