Walt Disney World vacations aren’t getting any cheaper, but Disney has just announced a new way for certain guests to save money on their next visit.
With hotel accommodations often taking up a significant portion of a family’s vacation budget, finding the right discount can make a big difference.
Fortunately, Disney’s latest promotion includes several popular hotels, with savings reaching as high as 30%.
However, not everyone qualifies for the offer, and guests will need to pay close attention to their travel dates to receive the biggest discounts.
Disney World Announces New Florida Resident Hotel Offer
Walt Disney World has released a new hotel discount specifically for Florida residents planning vacations between January 3 and April 29, 2027.
The promotion includes select Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Resort hotels, giving eligible guests several options across different price ranges.
However, Disney has separated the promotion into two travel periods.
Guests visiting between January 3 and February 25 can save between 15% and 25% on most Sunday through Thursday nights.
Those traveling between February 28 and April 29 can receive larger discounts of 20% to 30%, with savings available on most nights.
That makes late February through April the better opportunity for guests hoping to receive the maximum discount.
The actual savings depend on which resort and room category guests select.
Which Disney World Hotels Are Included?
Several of Disney World’s most popular hotels qualify for the highest discount category.
Florida residents can save up to 30% at select accommodations at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort during the later promotional period.
Other participating properties include Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
Guests looking for something less expensive also have options.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and select rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside qualify for discounts reaching 25%.
Meanwhile, Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and standard rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort offer savings of up to 20%.
These discounts could be particularly helpful for Florida families considering a quick weekend getaway or a longer spring vacation.
Important Restrictions Guests Should Know
Before booking, guests should understand that Disney has placed several limitations on the offer.
Visitors must provide proof of Florida residency at check-in, and reservations must be between one and 14 nights.
The number of discounted rooms is limited, meaning availability could disappear at popular hotels or during busy travel periods.
Disney also excludes certain accommodations, including three-bedroom villas and several specialty villas and bungalows.
Additionally, guests cannot combine the promotion with other discounts.
Those who already have reservations during the eligible travel dates may be able to apply the savings to their existing bookings, depending on availability.
