Christmas celebrations are getting underway at Walt Disney World, but some families are already running into problems before the holiday season officially begins.
Disney has spent months preparing its theme parks for the holidays, with special entertainment, festive decorations, and exclusive events returning throughout November and December. However, visitors hoping to enjoy everything the resort has planned may find themselves paying extra for certain experiences.

Even then, purchasing tickets isn’t always an option.
Disney has now confirmed another sellout for one of its popular Christmas celebrations, leaving families with fewer dates to choose from.
Disney Jollywood Nights Sells Out Another Date
Disney Jollywood Nights is returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the 2026 holiday season, but several parties have already reached capacity.
According to WDW News Today, the November 28 event has officially sold out. The party takes place on the Saturday immediately following Thanksgiving, making it a particularly attractive date for families visiting Orlando over the holiday weekend.
November 28 joins November 7 and November 14 on the list of sold-out dates.
That means three Jollywood Nights parties have already sold out before the first event of the season.

For anyone planning to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios over Thanksgiving weekend, the announcement could be disappointing.
Although the park will continue operating during its regular hours, visitors cannot attend Jollywood Nights without purchasing a separate ticket.
Unfortunately, anyone who waited too long to purchase admission for November 28 will now have to choose another date.
Disney World Charges Nearly $200 for Christmas Celebration
Disney Jollywood Nights isn’t included with regular theme park admission.
Instead, visitors must purchase a separate ticket, with prices ranging from $169 to $199 per person for the 2026 season.
For a family of four, that could mean spending nearly $800 just to attend the holiday celebration.
Disney offers $10 discounts for children ages three through nine, eligible Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club Members.

However, those savings may not make much of a difference for families already spending thousands of dollars on their vacations.
The event officially begins at 7:30 p.m. and continues until 12:30 a.m., giving attendees five hours of holiday entertainment.
Ticket holders can enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios beginning at 5:30 p.m., allowing them to spend additional time inside the park before the celebration starts.
This year’s event will also feature some new experiences.
Disney is introducing an Animation Courtyard lounge and adding characters to the Glisten! skating show.
Attendees will receive a Chip ‘n’ Dale ornament, while exclusive merchandise will include a Gertie Loungefly purse.
Several Disney Jollywood Nights Dates Remain Available
Despite the latest sellout, Disney fans still have opportunities to attend the event.
As of November 4, tickets remain available for November 16, 21, and 23.
December dates include December 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, and 23.
Disney is also extending Jollywood Nights into January for the first time, with parties scheduled for January 3 and January 5, 2027.
The expanded schedule gives visitors more flexibility, especially those planning vacations after Christmas.

Still, the three sold-out dates show why waiting until the last minute can be risky.
Disney hasn’t announced that every remaining party is close to selling out, but availability could change as the holidays approach.
For families hoping to experience Jollywood Nights, purchasing tickets early may be the safest option.
After all, spending nearly $200 per person doesn’t guarantee a spot if the event has already reached capacity.
