Disney World Guests Will Face New Lightning Lane Pricing in 48 Hours as Sales Remain Wide Open

The newest Lightning Lane price increases take effect on Sunday, November 1, 2026, so Friday and Saturday offer the final opportunity to lock in current rates before the holiday surge.

What Changes on November 1

Two price shifts are coming. First, Lightning Lane Single Pass maximum prices increase at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Avatar Flight of Passage, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, setting record highs for all four. Second, Magic Kingdom’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass goes back up to its $449 ceiling.

As a reminder, Single Pass is a separate purchase from Multi Pass and covers the headline rides Multi Pass leaves out. Rates vary by date and demand, so you may not see the maximum on your visit.

Once the changes kick in, Cosmic Rewind and TRON will match Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at $25, tying for the highest Single Pass price at the resort. Cosmic Rewind and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train take the biggest hits, rising $3 apiece.

For Premier Pass at Magic Kingdom, you’ll pay $429 on Friday and Saturday and $449 on Sunday. Disney generally holds that top figure for Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, and it’s $150 higher than the $299 low point introduced earlier in 2026. Over the next four weeks, prices fall between $399 and $449, and both November 3 and November 5 are already sold out.

What You Can Still Book This Weekend

The good news is that availability is wide open. Only three Single Pass sellouts appear from Friday through Sunday. Cosmic Rewind is sold out today, Friday, October 30, and both TRON Lightcycle / Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are sold out for Halloween on Saturday, October 31.

All Multi Pass and Premier Pass options remain on sale all three days: Multi Pass: $28 at EPCOT, $35 to $39 at Magic Kingdom, $22 to $25 at Animal Kingdom, and $29 to $32 at Hollywood Studios. Premier Pass: $249 at EPCOT, $179 to $199 at Animal Kingdom, and $339 to $349 at Hollywood Studios.

Why Now?

The holiday season brings a packed calendar. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs at Magic Kingdom, Disney Jollywood Nights takes place at Hollywood Studios, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays opens later in November. Add Thanksgiving and Christmas travel, and standby waits grow, which tends to send more guests toward Lightning Lane regardless of cost.

Our Tips

Check My Disney Experience for your exact dates, and book soon, especially for Sunday. Missed TRON or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train on Halloween? Arrive before official park opening, plan around predicted waits, or join the standby line. Keep in mind that Magic Kingdom closes to regular guests at 6 p.m. for the last Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the 2026 season, so 7:30 a.m. Early Entry is your best chance at shorter lines.

At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his… More »
