Visiting Walt Disney World is about to get a little easier for some guests, thanks to a newly announced change to the resort’s park entry rules.
For many Disney fans, one of the biggest frustrations with visiting the theme parks has been the need to plan ahead. Even guests who have already paid for admission through an Annual Pass sometimes have to make reservations before entering.
While Disney has made several adjustments to those requirements, the reservation system hasn’t completely disappeared.
However, a new announcement means some visitors can skip that extra planning step later this month.

Disney is removing a major entry requirement for four consecutive days, although the temporary change comes with a few conditions.
Disney World Announces Four Days Without Park Reservations
Walt Disney World has added four additional Good to Go Days for Annual Passholders, creating another opportunity to visit without making reservations.
The dates are October 26, October 27, October 28, and October 29, 2026.
As reported by WDWMAGIC, these dates will allow eligible Annual Passholders to enter Disney’s four theme parks without securing a reservation in advance.
That includes Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
For passholders who enjoy spontaneous visits, the change removes an extra step from the planning process.
Someone who decides to spend an afternoon at EPCOT or visit Magic Kingdom after work, for example, won’t have to worry about making a reservation on those dates, provided their pass is valid for admission.
October 6 was previously designated as a Good to Go Day, meaning Disney has now offered five such dates during October.
But there’s an important catch.
Not All Disney World Guests Qualify for the Change
The newly announced reservation-free dates only apply to eligible Annual Passholders.
Guests visiting with regular theme park tickets don’t receive a new benefit from this announcement, and Disney hasn’t removed all restrictions for passholders.
Annual Pass blockout dates still apply, meaning guests must make sure their passes are valid for the day they want to visit.
Capacity limitations also remain in effect.
Even though Disney is removing the reservation requirement, the company can still restrict entry if a park reaches capacity.
That distinction matters because Good to Go Days aren’t the same as guaranteed park admission.
Passholders should check their admission eligibility before making plans, especially if they have a pass with seasonal restrictions.

Disney Is Giving Annual Passholders More Flexibility
Good to Go Days aren’t a new concept at Walt Disney World, but they have become an important part of how Disney manages Annual Passholder visits.
Throughout 2026, the company has periodically announced dates when passholders can enter without reservations.
July featured 11 Good to Go Days, while September also offered 11.
The latest October additions give passholders another chance to take advantage of the program before the month ends.
There’s also good news for anyone who already reserved a park visit on one of the newly announced dates.
Disney automatically removes those reservations once a date becomes a Good to Go Day.
Although guests can still see their plans in My Disney Experience, the reservations no longer count against their maximum number of reservation holds.
That makes it easier to schedule additional visits later.
Will Disney Remove More Reservation Requirements?
For now, Disney hasn’t announced any permanent changes to its Annual Passholder reservation system.
The October 26–29 adjustment only applies to those four dates, and eligible passholders must continue following existing admission rules outside the designated window.
Disney already allows certain reservation-free visits after 2 p.m. on regular dates, with exceptions such as Magic Kingdom on weekends.
Good to Go Days provide greater flexibility by removing the advance reservation requirement regardless of the time of day.
With the holiday season approaching, additional dates could be particularly useful for passholders hoping to enjoy Disney’s seasonal decorations and entertainment.
However, Disney hasn’t confirmed any new November dates in this announcement.
For now, Annual Passholders should check My Disney Experience regularly for future updates.
The reservation system isn’t going away entirely, but Disney’s latest change gives eligible guests four more opportunities to enjoy the parks without making plans days in advance.
