Three More Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Nights Sell Out, Including the Last Affordable Date

Disney World has sold out November 9, November 13, and December 1 for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, bringing the season total to eight of 25 nights.

The headline sellout. November 9 was the last night priced at $189, the lowest of the season. All three of the cheapest dates are now gone.

The three dates. November 9 was a Monday and the party’s second night, at $189 or $179 for Annual Passholders. November 13 was a Friday at $194 or $184. December 1 was a Tuesday at $209 or $199, and the first December night with a Passholder discount to sell out.

Earlier sellouts. November 12, November 17, November 24, December 20 and December 22.

Seventeen dates remain available.

It Is Not Only the Cheap Nights

A common framing of these sellouts has the bargain dates disappearing while premium nights linger. The calendar says otherwise.

December 20 and December 22 sold out earlier, both at $229, the season’s top price. December 22 was the closest party night to Christmas.

Both ends of the price range are moving. November 13 and December 1 were mid-range dates, which means demand has filled in the middle as well.

Passholder Nights Are the Fast Movers

The clearest pattern in the data involves the Annual Passholder discount.

Five of the 11 Passholder-discount nights have sold out. Three of the remaining 14 nights have sold out.

That works out to roughly 45 percent against 21 percent, more than double the rate.

The explanation is straightforward. Passholders are local or regional, highly flexible on dates, price-attentive, and better informed about the calendar than most buyers. Their behavior tends to lead the broader market rather than follow it.

Six Passholder-discount dates are still available:

  • November: 8, 15, 19, 20, 29
  • December: 3

The Price Difference Is Smaller Than It Sounds

The lowest remaining price is $194, or $184 for Passholders, on November 15 and November 19.

The season’s cheapest night was $189, or $179.

The floor moved five dollars.

Opening night on November 8 remains available at $199, or $189 for Passholders, which is ten dollars above the lowest price ever offered this season.

Children ages 3 to 9 save $10 per ticket on every date, which more than offsets the increase for families with young kids.

Every Night Is the Same Party

Worth stating plainly, because sellout coverage tends to obscure it.

All 25 dates carry the same entertainment lineup: Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration. Entry begins as early as 4 p.m., and the party starts at 7 p.m.

The $40 spread between the lowest and highest prices buys a date on the calendar, not a different event. Guests paying more are paying for proximity to Christmas and for a night that fits their schedule.

The Deadline Worth Watching

Last year, all 25 party dates sold out by November 19, every one at the same $229 top price.

Seventeen dates remain with about a month until that comparison point.

If the pace holds, the relevant question shifts from finding the cheapest night to securing any night. Disney notes availability is limited and dates may sell out before the event. Tickets are available online or by phone.

Remaining Standouts

Lowest price: November 15 and November 19, $194 or $184.

Cheapest Passholder rate: November 8, opening night, at $189.

Final top-tier dates: December 17 and December 18, the only $229 nights left.

Only December Passholder night: December 3, $214 or $204.

For context on the season: Disney announced the 25 dates, lineup, and $189-$229 price range on June 24. Tickets went on sale to all guests on July 16. November 24 sold out first on September 29, with December 22 following on October 3.
