Hollywood Studios remains one of Walt Disney World’s biggest draws, but getting everything guests want out of a park day isn’t always as simple as buying a ticket.

For 2026 visitors, several barriers can limit access, eat into valuable vacation time, or require additional spending.

Guests Could Hit a Roadblock Early

The Magic of Disney Animation recently joined the Hollywood Studios lineup, giving families another collection of experiences to explore.

Olaf Draws! is among those additions, but getting inside may require more than simply finding the entrance.

Disney can use a virtual queue for the experience. When that system comes into play, families can’t necessarily rely on joining a traditional standby line upon arrival.

Part of Hollywood Studios Is Out of Reach

Disney is actively transforming Hollywood Studios as construction moves forward on Monstropolis.

The upcoming Monsters, Inc.-themed land promises to eventually bring a major new destination to the park. Before Disney can reach that point, however, guests must endure the construction period.

An entire section that visitors could previously explore has been closed to make room for the project.

Disney Jollywood Nights brings special holiday entertainment to Hollywood Studios, but admission is separate.

A regular Hollywood Studios ticket doesn’t include the exclusive Jollywood Nights event.

Guests who want to spend the day at Hollywood Studios and then experience the separately ticketed celebration must budget for an additional purchase.

That can become particularly important for families visiting during the Christmas season.

A regular park day and Jollywood Nights offer different experiences, meaning visitors interested in both need to plan accordingly.

No single restriction defines Hollywood Studios in 2026. Their combined impact, however, can change how families approach the park.
