Disney Visa Cardmembers have another reason to start looking ahead to a Walt Disney World vacation in 2027.
A new hotel promotion gives eligible Cardmembers the chance to save up to 30% on select Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms, with discounted stays available during the first four months of the year.
While Disney frequently releases hotel promotions, this one comes with an additional benefit specifically aimed at Disney Visa Cardmembers planning longer vacations. Guests staying at least five nights can unlock savings on select weekend nights during January and February.
Depending on when and where a family stays, the discount could remove a sizable amount from the hotel portion of a Disney World vacation.
The Biggest Disney Visa Discount Reaches 30%
The maximum savings arrive during the spring portion of the promotion.
Disney Visa Cardmembers can save 30% on select rooms for stays most nights from February 28 through April 29, 2027.
Several of Disney World’s Deluxe Resorts and Disney Vacation Club properties fall into this highest discount group.
Participating options include Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Bay Lake Tower, Boulder Ridge Villas, Disney’s Beach Club Villas, Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and other select accommodations are included as well.
Guests visiting before February 28 can still find considerable savings at these properties. Eligible rooms receive a 25% discount on most Sunday through Thursday nights from January 3 through February 25.
Five-Night Vacations Come With an Extra Perk
The weekend portion of the offer is especially worth watching.
Cardmembers booking at least five nights can save 20% on eligible rooms for most Friday and Saturday nights from January 8 through February 27 at resorts in the highest discount category.
That could make the promotion easier to use for families taking a typical weeklong vacation.
Instead of only receiving the strongest savings during weekdays, qualifying Cardmembers can continue getting a reduced rate on eligible weekend nights.
The amount changes depending on the hotel.
A second group of participating resorts offers up to 25% off between February 28 and April 29. Earlier stays receive up to 20% off Sunday through Thursday, while qualifying five-night stays can receive 15% off select Friday and Saturday nights.
That group includes Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, among other eligible accommodations.
Value Resorts Aren’t Left Out
Cardmembers looking to keep their starting hotel price lower also have several choices.
Select rooms at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort qualify for savings of up to 20%.
Standard rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and certain accommodations at Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts are also part of this discount tier.
Those rooms receive 20% savings for most nights between February 28 and April 29. The discount is 15% for most Sunday through Thursday stays from January 3 through February 25.
Cardmembers staying five nights or longer can receive 10% off eligible Friday and Saturday nights from January 8 through February 27.
Cardmembers Need to Meet Disney’s Requirements
There are some restrictions.
The Disney Visa Cardmember must stay in the room and use a Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card to pay the deposit.
Availability is limited, and not every hotel or room category qualifies.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort is among the exclusions. Several larger Disney Vacation Club accommodations are also excluded, including all three-bedroom villas and certain accommodations at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
Still, the promotion gives Disney Visa Cardmembers another option for lowering the price of a 2027 vacation.
With savings reaching 30% at some of Disney World’s most expensive resorts, the benefit could become considerably more valuable as the length of the trip increases.
Anyone holding a Disney Visa and planning a Walt Disney World vacation between January and April 2027 should compare the eligible resorts and dates before settling on a room.
A small change in travel dates or hotel choice could potentially unlock a much larger discount.
