The currently reported Stranger Things: Return to Hawkins showtimes are 9 p.m., 9:45 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:15 p.m., midnight, and 12:45 a.m., with viewing from the Hollywood/Central Park side of the Universal Studios Florida lagoon. For guests trying to see as much as possible, Return to Hawkins could function as a strategic break from house queues. Missing the 9 p.m. presentation does not necessarily mean losing the show for the night.
There is another wrinkle: Universal has expanded early haunted-house access for eligible Stay & Scream guests. The important distinction is that Universal has not announced a separate surcharge for Return to Hawkins. The lagoon show is part of Halloween Horror Nights entertainment, but HHN itself requires separate admission from regular daytime park access.
That matters because Universal is selling increasingly segmented ways to experience HHN. Its official site advertises single-night admission alongside Express Pass, Scream Early, R.I.P. Tours, and limited-capacity Premium Scream Nights, which promise shorter waits and select all-you-care-to-enjoy food.
Inside the Magic has also reported that every standard multi-night pass tier increased in price for 2026. At the same time, Universal discontinued multi-night Frequent Fear products bundled with Express, meaning repeat visitors who want Express must consider it separately.
None of that proves another ticket increase is coming, and Universal has not announced a new paid access tier tied specifically to Stranger Things: Return to Hawkins. Still, the show strengthens HHN’s value proposition: a major Netflix franchise now spans both a haunted house and a nighttime spectacular during the same event.
Stranger Things Adds Value, but Access Still Sits Behind the HHN Ticket
For fans, that is the practical tradeoff. Return to Hawkins gives attendees another substantial entertainment option without a separately announced show ticket, but guests must first have admission to Halloween Horror Nights.
Universal says HHN is a separately ticketed event and warns that prices, dates, times, attractions, and entertainment are subject to availability or change. Its ticketing language also says pricing varies by date and can change until purchased.
