After 34 Years, Disney Quietly Removes Peter Pan From Theme Park Parade Lineup
Disneyland Paris Resort has quietly pulled Peter Pan from its daytime parade, marking an unexpected shift for a character who has been part of the European Disney park‘s identity since it first opened its gates in 1992.
A Notable Disappearance
The change came to light Monday, when X (formerly known as Twitter) user @PixiedustDLP shared photos showing that the crescent moon-shaped Peter Pan (1953) float was absent from Disney Stars on Parade, missing from its usual spot just ahead of the Skull Rock replica featuring Captain Hook and Smee.
The user wrote alongside the photos:

That particular float has been a fixture of Disney Stars on Parade since the procession began in March 2017, recognized for its swinging, ship-shaped platform where Peter Pan and a Lost Boy perform throughout the route.
The float’s absence follows another recent unannounced change tied to Peter Pan’s world. Just weeks prior, Disneyland Resort in California quietly closed Pixie Hollow, the meet-and-greet space for Tinker Bell, Peter Pan’s longtime companion. That location has since reopened in a modified format as refurbishment continues.
Disney Stays Silent on the Change
Disneyland Paris Resort has not commented on why the float is missing or whether its removal is permanent. Disney Stars on Parade continues its regular once-daily run at Disneyland Park (Paris) without it, at least for now.
Guests hoping for a Peter Pan encounter still have options elsewhere in the original European Disney park. The Peter Pan’s Flight attraction remains open in Fantasyland, and the character can still be found greeting theme park guests alongside Wendy throughout the day.
