Planning a last-minute Walt Disney World trip just became a little easier for Annual Passholders.
Disney has officially expanded its Good to Go Day calendar, adding the first reservation-free dates for August 2026. The latest update gives eligible Passholders three new opportunities to visit the parks without making a theme park reservation in advance.
The newly announced dates are August 2, August 3, and August 9.
For many Annual Passholders, that’s welcome news. While Disney has relaxed many of its reservation requirements over the past year, some Passholders still need reservations on certain days. Good to Go Days remove that requirement, making it much easier to decide on a spontaneous visit.
How Good to Go Days Work
Good to Go Days are specific dates chosen by Disney when eligible Annual Passholders can enter the parks without first reserving a park.
The program doesn’t eliminate every restriction, however. Passholders must still follow any blockout dates tied to their pass, and admission remains subject to park capacity.
Still, for those who enjoy visiting whenever the mood strikes, Good to Go Days provide much more flexibility than the standard reservation system.
If you’ve been waiting for Disney to announce August dates, the wait is finally over.
You Don’t Need to Cancel Existing Reservations
One convenient feature of the program is that Disney handles existing reservations automatically.
If you’ve already booked a park reservation for one of the newly designated Good to Go Days, Disney removes it from your account without requiring you to do anything.
The reservation will still appear in your My Disney Experience plans, but it no longer counts toward the maximum number of reservations you can hold.
That gives Passholders additional flexibility if they’re planning multiple park visits over the coming weeks.
Reservations Aren’t Always Necessary Anyway
Even when Good to Go Days aren’t available, many Annual Passholders already have another option.
Disney continues allowing eligible Passholders to enter any Walt Disney World theme park after 2:00 p.m. without a reservation on most days. The only major exception is Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays, when reservation rules still apply before that time.
Together, these policies have made visiting much easier than it was during the early years of Disney’s park reservation system.
More Dates Could Be Coming
The addition of August 2, 3, and 9 follows a steady pattern throughout 2026.
Disney has regularly added Good to Go Days as attendance forecasts change, releasing dates across January, February, March, April, June, and July before finally extending the calendar into August.
That means there’s still a chance additional August dates will appear later if Disney decides attendance levels allow for more reservation-free visits.
For now, Passholders have three confirmed opportunities to enjoy the parks without worrying about securing a reservation first. If you’re hoping to make a quick summer trip before the season comes to an end, these newly added Good to Go Days may be the perfect excuse.
