Walt Disney World Empties Out in Possible Sign of Looming Recession
The usual crowds have been hard to find at Disney World this summer.
July has traditionally been one of the busiest times to visit Walt Disney World. School vacations, longer park hours, and Fourth of July travel usually bring large numbers of families to Central Florida.

That pattern has changed in recent years as higher prices, extreme heat, and more flexible travel schedules push some guests toward fall and winter trips instead.
This summer, however, the difference has been especially noticeable at Magic Kingdom, where guests have shared images of unusually quiet entrances and short attraction lines.
