Universal Drops Halloween Horror Nights Multi-Night Passes on Sale But There’s a Catch
The wait is over. Universal Orlando Resort put Halloween Horror Nights 35 Frequent Fear passes on sale this morning around 7 a.m., and if the last few weeks of refreshing the ticketing page are a familiar experience, today is the payoff. All four tiers are still available as of 9:10 a.m., but this is not a situation to sit on.
Quick practical note before the breakdown: the app has been running smoother than the website this morning. If the browser queue stalls, switch over.
The Four Tiers, Explained Quickly
Rush of Fear Pass: $229.99
The lowest tier covers up to 18 event nights, all in the opening stretch of the season. Opening weekend is included, and the pass runs through September 20. This one is for guests who want to be among the first through the haunted houses without paying for the full season. If October visits are not on the table, this is the tier.
Frequent Fear Pass: $274.99
The standard pass steps up to 31 eligible nights and stretches through November 1. The dates lean heavily toward Sunday through Thursday, plus opening weekend. Guests who can visit on weeknights and want to skip the most crowded Fridays and Saturdays will find solid value here.

Frequent Fear Plus Pass: $324.99
Forty-one nights and more weekend access than the standard pass. Frequent Fear Plus includes Friday and Saturday dates that the tier below omits, making it the right call for anyone who needs weekend flexibility but does not want to spend up to the top tier. This is the sweet spot for most multi-visit guests.
Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass: $449.99
The top tier covers 49 nights, which is essentially every eligible event date in 2026. The two exceptions are Premium Scream Nights on August 27 and October 19, which are not included on any Frequent Fear passes. The big bonus at this level: free self-parking after 5 p.m. on any eligible night.
Every tier requires selecting a start date at checkout, and that choice determines the total number of included visits. Pricing is per person plus tax.
The Part That Stings: Universal Express Pass for HHN Is Gone
Universal confirmed earlier this month that Frequent Fear Passes with Express Pass products have been discontinued for Halloween Horror Nights 35. None of the four tiers includes Express Pass, and there is no add-on option at checkout for seasonal pass holders.
Express Pass itself has not disappeared. It still exists as a standalone nightly add-on for single-night ticket holders, giving front-of-line access for haunted houses and participating attractions on a per-night basis. But the ability to bundle it into a Frequent Fear pass is gone, and Universal has said the decision is intended to improve the overall event experience for all guests.
For longtime pass holders who built their Horror Nights strategy around Express access, this adjustment will require the most rethinking. Guests who want Express on a specific night will need to price it out separately as a nightly purchase, subject to availability.
Go Get the Universal Tickets
The queue system was stressful this morning, but it is moving. The app is the better option if the browser line starts freezing up. All four tiers are live and still available, and Halloween Horror Nights 35 runs on select nights from August 28 through November 1 at Universal Studios Florida.
If the Frequent Fear passes have been on the radar for weeks, this is the moment. Go buy the tickets.
