The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have conquered almost every corner of the entertainment industry over the past four decades.
From movies and television to comics, video games, toys, and now even themed restaurants and live stage productions, the heroes in a half-shell are bigger than ever.
Could TMNT Get a Major Theme Park Attraction?
With the franchise expanding into entirely new areas, it feels like only a matter of time before the Turtles receive something they’ve never truly had before: a major theme park attraction or even an entire themed land.
The latest additions include a TMNT-themed pizzeria on Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade in Los Angeles, with more locations planned for later this year, and a newly announced live production, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Live on Stage!, which debuts next year.
Taken together, those projects make the idea of a dedicated theme park attraction feel more realistic than ever.

The Ninja Turtles have appeared at theme parks before, including meet-and-greet experiences at Disney World’s then-Disney-MGM Studios during the height of “Turtle-mania” in the early to mid ’90s, while global Nickelodeon destinations also feature several TMNT-inspired rides.
However, there’s never been a large-scale attraction or themed land based on the beloved animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987–1996).
If that ever changes, the colorful world of the original cartoon feels like the natural choice. Imagine winding sewer tunnels, larger-than-life animatronics of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, Splinter, Shredder, Casey Jones, and April O’Neil, interactive experiences, themed dining, and, naturally, plenty of pizza.
Paramount hasn’t confirmed whether Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Live on Stage! will use the same visual style as the new pizzerias, which are based on the 1987 cartoon.
However, Josh Silverman, President of Global Products & Experiences for Paramount, said the company is “bringing the Turtles to an exciting new storytelling platform while staying true to the energy, humor, and heart fans have loved for more than four decades.”
