Guests Can Now Have the Chance To Stay in Cinderella Castle at Disney World, Here’s How

For many Walt Disney World Resort guests, staying at a Disney hotel is part of the vacation experience. However, one of the property’s most sought-after accommodations isn’t listed on Disney’s booking website and can’t be reserved with points, cash, or vacation packages.

Instead, the Cinderella Castle Suite inside Magic Kingdom’s iconic centerpiece remains one of the most exclusive places to spend the night, reserved for special occasions, contests, and select VIP guests.

Since Magic Kingdom welcomed its first guests in 1971, Cinderella Castle has served as the defining symbol of Walt Disney World Resort. Standing 189 feet tall in the heart of Magic Kingdom, the landmark was inspired by European castles, including Bavaria’s Neuschwanstein Castle, while also reflecting the timeless style of Disney’s animated classic Cinderella (1950).

The castle is far more than a visual centerpiece. It anchors the park’s design, serves as the backdrop for nighttime entertainment such as Happily Ever After, and is home to Cinderella’s Royal Table, where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner while meeting Disney Princesses. For countless visitors, the first walk down Main Street, U.S.A. toward the castle remains one of the defining moments of a Walt Disney World vacation.

Hidden within the upper levels of Cinderella Castle is the Cinderella Castle Suite, an elaborately themed space inspired by a 17th-century French château. The room features ornate furnishings, hand-painted artwork, and stained-glass-style windows offering views of Magic Kingdom below.

Unlike Disney’s other resort accommodations, the suite has never been available to reserve through traditional channels. Instead, Disney has historically used it as a prize for sweepstakes winners or invited select VIPs and celebrities to stay overnight.

Among the notable names associated with the suite is pop star Katy Perry, while Disney has also offered overnight stays during promotional campaigns tied to major resort anniversaries. Because opportunities to stay there are so limited, every guest who experiences the suite becomes part of Disney Parks’ history.

Disney fans now have another opportunity to experience the Cinderella Castle Suite, and this time it comes with a charitable purpose.

The Royal Dream Come True sweepstakes supports Give Kids The World through the Our Change Foundation. Guests who donate $10 or more receive an entry, with proceeds helping Give Kids The World continue providing unforgettable experiences for children with critical illnesses and their families.

The prize combines one of Walt Disney World’s rarest experiences with fundraising for a cause that has long been connected to the Disney community. It includes:

  • A one-night stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite at Magic Kingdom Park for up to four guests
  • Breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table inside the castle
  • A two-night stay in a standard room at one of eight Deluxe Disney Resort hotels
  • Up to four 3-day Theme Park Tickets with the Park Hopper® Option, valid across all four Walt Disney World theme parks
  • A $500 Disney Gift Card for the winner
  • Round-trip airfare for up to four passengers

The winning party will spend the night inside Cinderella Castle before enjoying breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table. The package also includes accommodations at a Deluxe Disney Resort hotel, park tickets covering all four Walt Disney World theme parks, airfare, and a Disney Gift Card.

The sweepstakes also arrives while Cinderella Castle is receiving another round of refurbishment work.

Disney is continuing routine maintenance on the park icon to preserve its appearance after years of exposure to Florida’s weather and the demands of welcoming millions of guests each year. Temporary scaffolding and repainting have been visible around sections of the castle, with Disney Parks fans enjoying the finished color palette and refreshed details.

That means the eventual winner will experience the castle’s luxurious interior following exterior restoration around one of Walt Disney World’s most recognizable landmarks.

Since the Cinderella Castle Suite has never been available through standard reservations, the Royal Dream Come True sweepstakes represents one of the few legitimate ways for guests to spend a night inside Magic Kingdom’s most famous structure.

With entries beginning at a $10 donation, participants not only have the opportunity to win an unforgettable Walt Disney World vacation but also help support Give Kids The World’s work with children facing critical illnesses.

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his… More »
