Law Enforcement on the Scene of Violent Outburst at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
A battery call at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa on Wednesday morning added another law enforcement response to what has been an eventful stretch of emergency activity around Walt Disney World Resort in recent weeks.
What the Police Scanner Captured

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 10:35 a.m. on July 1 reporting a battery incident at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, located in the Disney Springs Resort area. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the report on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The specific classification — “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” — says more than a generic disturbance call would. It confirms that physical contact was involved in the incident, distinguishing it from a verbal altercation or general complaint.

The Google Maps pin attached to the alert places the response at a generalized center point of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa rather than a precise location on the property. Whether the people involved were guests, cast members, or some combination of both hasn’t been confirmed. Walt Disney World Resort has not commented on the incident, and further details from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office are unlikely to surface unless criminal charges or a police report are filed.
Guests Can Carry on as Normal
Wednesday’s law enforcement response has produced no reported disruptions at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. The My Disney Experience app shows all guest amenities — dining, transportation, pools, and resort facilities — operating normally following the morning call. No traffic delays have been reported in the surrounding Disney Springs Resort area.

As always, guests who find themselves in proximity to a law enforcement or security response at any Walt Disney World property should follow the directions of cast members and officers on the scene and avoid any cordoned-off areas while the situation is being managed.
