Disney Resort Reduces Early Entry Access for Resort Guests
Disney hotel guests at one resort will face additional early entry restrictions later this year.
Early park access remains one of the biggest perks offered at Disney resorts around the world. Guests staying at Disney-owned hotels can often enter the parks before regular opening, helping them avoid long waits for popular attractions.

The benefit varies widely depending on the resort.
Walt Disney World continues offering 30 minutes of Early Theme Park Entry to all Disney hotel guests each day. Disneyland Resort ended its own early entry program earlier this year and replaced it with a complimentary Lightning Lane benefit.
Disneyland Paris still offers Extra Magic Time, which allows Disney hotel guests access to select attractions before official opening.
Tokyo Disney Resort operates a more limited system called Happy Entry, where access depends on the hotel, park, and date.

Tokyo Disney Resort Adds New Happy Entry Restrictions
Tokyo Disney Resort has updated its Happy Entry schedule through October 31, 2026, reducing early entry access for guests staying at several Disney hotels.
On September 15, 16, and 19, alongside October 31, only guests staying at Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel Grand Chateau and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel may use Happy Entry at Tokyo Disneyland.
Guests staying at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel Fantasy Chateau, and Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel will not receive early access to the park on those dates.

The restrictions continue a trend already in place at some of the resortās lower-cost hotels.
Guests staying at Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel and Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel are permanently excluded from using Happy Entry at Tokyo DisneySea.
Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and Disney Ambassador Hotel guests also face seasonal restrictions. Those guests may only use Happy Entry at Tokyo DisneySea between July 1 and September 14, 2026.
Tokyo Disney Resort has not yet released its Happy Entry schedule beyond October 31.

Additional restrictions may be introduced later in the year during the busy holiday season.
How Happy Entry Works at Tokyo Disney Resort
Tokyo Disney Resort’s Happy Entry system works differently from early entry programs at Disneyās U.S. parks.
Eligible guests may enter participating parks before regular opening on most days of their stay, though the benefit is unavailable on check-in day.
The system does not generally provide early attraction access.

Instead, guests are allowed into the park before opening to shop, take photos, and access limited services before regular crowds arrive.
Attractions typically begin operating once the park officially opens to all guests.
Happy Entry guests can still use the time to purchase Disney Premier Access, obtain Standby Passes, and submit Entry Requests before regular opening.
Services available during the early-entry period are limited mainly to guest relations, stroller rentals, and first aid.

The restrictions come as Tokyo Disney Resort continues expanding following the opening of Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea.
The resort has also previously announced plans to add more hotels in the future, while rumors about a potential third theme park continue circulating among Disney fans.
