Disney World Cuts Magic Kingdom Tickets by 40% With New $119 Offer This Fall

Planning a Disney World vacation in 2026 has started to feel more stressful for many families. Hotel rates continue climbing, Lightning Lane passes can add up fast, and even basic one-day park tickets now cost far more than many guests remember paying just a few years ago.

That is why Disney’s newest fall pricing has grabbed so much attention.

On select nights this August, guests can enter Magic Kingdom for as little as $119, which is significantly lower than the cost of standard daytime admission. The surprising part? The deal is tied to one of Disney World’s most popular seasonal events.

Magic Kingdom Prices Continue Rising

Regular admission to Magic Kingdom has become incredibly expensive during peak travel periods.

For 2026, Disney’s one-day ticket pricing typically ranges from around $139 to more than $209 before tax, depending on the date guests visit. Holiday periods, school breaks, and weekends usually sit at the higher end of the pricing calendar.

The jump past the $200 mark became a huge talking point among Disney fans because 2026 marked the first time Magic Kingdom crossed that line. In 2025, the highest-priced ticket sat around $199.

Unfortunately for guests hoping prices would stabilize, Disney’s newly released 2027 ticket calendar already shows even higher costs. Current pricing ranges from about $159 to $219 for a one-day, one-park adult ticket.

A Special Event Creates a Rare Discount

Disney is currently offering select Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates at prices lower than some standard Magic Kingdom admission days.

The separately ticketed event takes place on select nights throughout the fall and allows guests to enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4 p.m. before the party officially runs through midnight.

August 11 and August 14 currently cost $119. August 18 rises to $129, while August 21 and August 23 cost $139.

Some of those nights are cheaper than Magic Kingdom’s lowest standard daytime ticket prices, which is not something Disney fans usually expect from a hard-ticket event.

Normally, special events cost more because they include exclusive entertainment and limited attendance.

The Event Includes More Than Just Ride Access

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is far more than simply visiting Magic Kingdom after dark.

Disney fills the park with Halloween decorations, themed music, character appearances, exclusive snacks, dance parties, entertainment, and attraction overlays. Guests also get access to event-exclusive offerings that daytime visitors cannot experience.

That includes the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, and several rare meet-and-greet opportunities that often draw huge lines during the season.

Families also receive an included trick-or-treating throughout the park. Disney sets up candy stations across the Magic Kingdom where guests can collect large amounts of candy during the night.

For many visitors, the lower crowd levels may be the biggest benefit of all.

Lower Crowds Change the Entire Experience

Disney limits ticket sales for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which usually creates shorter wait times than guests see during normal daytime operations.

That can completely change how much guests accomplish during a visit.

Even though party admission begins at 4 p.m., guests still receive eight full hours inside Magic Kingdom before the event ends at midnight. With lighter crowds and shorter lines, many fans feel they can experience more during the party than during a packed daytime visit.

Disney is also offering several other discounted ticket opportunities in 2026. The 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket starts as low as $99.75 per day and runs from May 26 through September 26. Disney’s After 2 PM Ticket bundle runs from May 26 through July 29 and averages roughly $116 to $118 per day, depending on the package.

Disney+ subscribers may also see periodic ticket promotions and vacation offers throughout the year.

A Rare Disney World Value

Disney World vacations are still expensive, and there is little indication that regular ticket prices will drop anytime soon.

Still, Disney’s fall 2026 calendar quietly includes one of the better Magic Kingdom values guests have seen in years.

Paying $119 for admission, entertainment, fireworks, Halloween festivities, candy, and lower crowd levels feels surprisingly reasonable compared to Disney’s normal pricing structure.

For guests willing to visit Magic Kingdom later in the day, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party may end up being one of the smartest Disney purchases available this fall.
