Disney World Reveals Final Chance To Ride Soarin’ Around the World at EPCOT, 22 Days Left

Guests who want one last flight around the globe on Soarin’ Around the World at EPCOT have just 22 days left.

May 14 Closing Date

Walt Disney World Resort has already confirmed that Soarin’ Around the World will close on May 14, 2026, making way for a temporary overlay called Soarin’ Across America. The new film, celebrating the United States’ 250th birthday, will debut at the Land Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Nature neighborhood on May 26.

The overlay is described as a sea-to-shining-sea cinematic journey, with sights, sounds, and even smells drawn from locations across the country. Chief Flight Attendant Patrick Warburton — a familiar face to longtime Soarin’ fans — returned to announce the experience:

“Hello, I’m Patrick, your Chief Flight Attendant. Soon as you sail through our spacious skies, you may see amber waves of grain, purple mountain majesties…That’s right! We’re going to be Soarin’ Across America. What better way to celebrate the country’s semiquincentennial than with a limited sea-to-shining-sea itinerary?”

Walt Disney World Resort updated its website on Wednesday to confirm operating hours for Soarin’ Across America. The attraction will participate in Early Theme Park Entry for most Disney Resort hotel guests, opening as early as 8:30 a.m., before the park opens to the general public at 9:00 a.m. Select Deluxe Disney Resort hotel guests will also have access to the Land Pavilion ride during Extended Evening Hours.

No end date for the overlay has been announced. Once Soarin’ Across America concludes its limited run, Soarin’ Around the World is expected to return to the Land Pavilion.

The America’s 250th celebrations at Walt Disney World Resort extend beyond the Land Pavilion. The “Portraits of Courage” exhibit at the American Adventure Pavilion in the World Showcase — featuring paintings of veterans by former President George W. Bush — has been extended and will remain on display through July 4, 2026.
