Emergency Responders Flood Disney Springs Following Multiple Incidents on Sunday
Sunday was an unusual morning at Walt Disney World Resort’s shopping and entertainment district, with first responders called to Disney Springs twice before lunchtime.
Before the Crowds Arrived

The first call came in the dead of night. At 4:18 a.m. on Sunday, March 15 — hours before Disney Springs welcomed its first guests of the day — scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime posted an active fire alert on X (formerly Twitter):

A Google Maps pin accompanied the post, placing the incident near the heart of Disney Springs. That coordinate, however, shouldn’t be taken as the definitive location of the response. Walt Disney World Resort emergency calls are frequently logged at fixed central points rather than at the exact location where an incident occurred.
Walt Disney World Resort issued no public statement following the overnight call. By all appearances, whatever happened left no lasting mark on the property. Disney Springs opened on its normal schedule Sunday morning with no reported closures or guest-facing disruptions stemming from the predawn incident.
A Second Alert Hours Later

The morning chaos wasn’t finished. Shortly after 10:30 a.m., well into Disney Springs’ operating hours, @WDWActiveCrime posted a second fire alert at the same location:
🔥 Fire Alert – 03/15/26 10:32 am

Walt Disney World Resort once again failed to comment publicly. No property damage from either incident has been confirmed. A check of the My Disney Experience app showed Disney Springs operating without disruption following both calls, with no attraction or venue closures listed in connection with the alerts.
No Impact to Guest Experience at Disney Springs

Despite two emergency responses in a single morning, Disney Springs appears to be running normally. Guests visiting the complex on Sunday should not anticipate closures or delays due to either incident. Anyone who does encounter law enforcement activity or barricaded areas on Walt Disney World Resort property should follow all guidance from Disney cast members and responding authorities.
Disney Dining will report any further developments as they become available.
