Taylor Swift’s Future Husband Makes Major Six Flags Career Announcement

NFL star Travis Kelce has signed on as an official Six Flags brand ambassador for 2026. The three-time Super Bowl champion and Kansas City Chiefs tight end will promote the theme park company across social media and appear in marketing campaigns throughout the year.

The Partnership Details

As part of the deal, Kelce will:

  • Share digital content promoting Six Flags on his social media platforms
  • Allow Six Flags to use his name, image, and likeness in broadcast media
  • Appear in streaming platform advertisements
  • Feature in in-park marketing materials

Financial terms of the ambassador arrangement were not disclosed.

Building on Existing Six Flags Investment

The announcement builds on Kelce’s existing relationship with Six Flags. In October 2025, he joined activist investment firm Jana Partners and other investors in acquiring a roughly 9% stake in the company, worth an estimated $200 million.

This investment gave Kelce a business interest in the theme park operator before taking on the ambassador role, providing additional context for the partnership.

Personal Connection to the Cedar Point and Six Flags

Six Flags President and CEO John Reilly emphasized Kelce’s personal history with the parks.

“Travis Kelce has been a lifelong fan of Six Flags, having grown up going to some of our most iconic parks with family and friends, so he is a natural ambassador to represent the Six Flags brand across North America,” Reilly said.

Kelce grew up in the Cleveland area and has spoken publicly about visiting Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, with his family as a kid. Cedar Point’s former operator, Cedar Fair, merged with Six Flags in 2024, bringing the park into the Six Flags portfolio.

When the investment was announced in October, Kelce posted on Instagram about wanting to make Cedar Point and Six Flags “even more special for the next generation of families.”

He echoed that sentiment in today’s announcement: “I look forward to helping them continue to build excitement for their unrivaled portfolio of parks and introduce a new generation of fans to unforgettable experiences.”

Six Flags in Transition

The Kelce partnership comes during major changes for Six Flags following its 2024 merger with Cedar Fair, which made it the largest regional amusement park operator in North America.

Recent developments:

Park Sales – Earlier this month, Six Flags announced it will sell seven parks including Valleyfair, Worlds of Fun, and Michigan’s Adventure to EPR Properties.

New Leadership – The company installed new CEO John Reilly in December 2025. The longtime theme park executive with 21 years at SeaWorld has outlined plans to raise operational quality, improve park throughput, and tailor marketing to local markets.

2026 Investments – The company said the Kelce partnership is one of several investments in new rides, attractions, and entertainment heading into the 2026 season.

The Taylor Swift Connection

Kelce proposed to pop superstar Taylor Swift in 2025, creating a power couple with connections to both major entertainment brands.

Swift has an ongoing relationship with Disney through concert film distribution on Disney+, documentary projects, and music integration across Disney platforms.

Kelce now has a formal business and promotional relationship with Six Flags through his investment stake and his role as a brand ambassador.

This creates an interesting dynamic where the couple has ties to both a global entertainment conglomerate (Disney) and the largest regional amusement park operator (Six Flags).

What Guests Can Expect at Six Flags

Visitors to Six Flags parks throughout 2026 should expect to see Kelce featured prominently in:

  • Marketing materials
  • Social media content
  • In-park promotions
  • Potentially special events or appearances

The digital content Kelce shares on his own platforms will expose his millions of followers to the company’s messaging, potentially driving increased attendance among demographics that might not otherwise prioritize regional theme parks.

As both an investor and ambassador, Kelce has a financial incentive to promote the parks effectively and help drive business success during this transitional period for the company.
