Disney Introduces Second Theme Park Offering Focused on Women
For the second time in just a few weeks, Disneyland Resort has introduced a theme park offering celebrating women. The new Disneyland Park offering comes just in time for Women’s History Month, which runs throughout March.
Celebrating Women’s History Month at Disneyland Park

This week, Disneyland Resort’s horticulture team replaced the classic Mickey Mouse flowerbed display with one featuring Minnie Mouse. This landscaping is located at the entrance to Disneyland Park, underneath the Disneyland Railroad Station on Main Street, U.S.A.
WDWNT shared this photo of the flowerbed on Facebook:
Disneyland Resort replaces Mickey with Minnie Mouse every year to celebrate Women’s History Month. Southern California Disney Park guests can expect to see this version of the flowerbed through at least the end of March.
“Women Who Make The Magic” Guided Tour
Guests who want to learn more about the women who helped create The Happiest Place on Earth can book the “Women Who Make The Magic” Guided Tour. This two-hour experience at Disneyland Park focuses on the lives and contributions of female cast members, including Harriet Burns, Alice Davis, Mary Blair, Ruth Shellhorn, Leota Toombs, Kim Irvine, and Dorothea Redmond.

An expert tour guide teaches Disneyland Park guests how the women “got their start at The Walt Disney Company, made names for themselves, and paved the way for future generations to succeed and continue the unparalleled legacy of Disney storytelling.”
The “Women Who Make The Magic” Guided Tour costs $110 per person aged 3+, with discounts available for Disney Visa Cardholders. However, admission to Disneyland Park is not included in the tour price. Most ticket types still require Disney Park Pass Reservations to enter Disneyland Park. Guests under 14 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
