Popular Culinary Event at Disney World is Officially Sold Out
One of Orlando’s most popular food competitions is officially at capacity. Ramen Rumble 8: Battle of the Champions has sold out all tickets for its February 2, 2026, event at Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs.
What the Disney World Event Includes
Presented by Patina Group in partnership with Good Salt Restaurant Group, Ramen Rumble brings together seven past champions from Orlando’s ramen scene for a head-to-head competition. This year’s format lives up to the Battle of the Champions subtitle, featuring exclusively previous winners rather than new competitors.
Guests who secured tickets will attend one of two sessions: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. or 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. During their session, attendees sample ramen creations from all seven competing chefs, then cast votes to determine the winner. The chef with the most votes receives the Broth Belt trophy, bragging rights for the year, and a charitable donation made in their name.
All proceeds from the event benefit Give Kids the World, a nonprofit resort in Kissimmee that provides free weeklong vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families.
The Competing Chefs
This year’s lineup represents Ramen Rumble winners from 2016 through 2025. The competitors are Chef Huy Tin of Seito Sushi Baldwin Park, Chef Kevin Kel of Sticky Rice, Chef Quan Van of Kai Asian Street Fare, Chef Takeshi Ikeuchi of Morimoto Asia, Chef Michael Cooper of The Osprey, Chef Yoko Takagi of Ramen Takagi, and Chef Eliot Hillis of Red Panda Noodle.
Each chef has already proven themselves in previous competitions, which raises the skill level significantly compared to events featuring newcomers. These are established champions defending their reputations and competing against others who have also won the title.
Disney World Event Ticket Pricing and Options
General admission tickets were priced at $100 per person. This included access to sample all seven ramen bowls and the ability to vote for your favorite. VIP booths accommodating up to four guests were available for $600. These premium options included dedicated table service and special event swag beyond what general admission received.
Both ticket categories sold out, continuing Ramen Rumble’s track record of consistently selling to capacity year after year.
The Give Kids the World and Disney World Connection
The charitable aspect of Ramen Rumble is central to the event’s identity. Give Kids the World operates an 89-acre resort that has served over 185,000 children with critical illnesses and their families since 1986.
Families staying at the resort receive completely free weeklong vacations including accommodations, meals, transportation, theme park tickets, and access to the resort’s own attractions. For families dealing with the financial and emotional stress of a child’s serious illness, these vacations provide moments of normalcy and joy.
Events like Ramen Rumble generate revenue that helps Give Kids the World continue operating and serving families who need it most. When guests buy tickets to sample ramen and vote for their favorite chef, they’re directly supporting this organization.
The Disney World Morimoto Asia Venue
Holding the event at Morimoto Asia adds prestige to the competition. The Disney Springs restaurant, created by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, features distinctive architecture and design. The space can accommodate large events while maintaining an elevated atmosphere that fits the caliber of chefs competing.
For a ramen competition, hosting at a restaurant founded by one of the world’s most recognizable Japanese chefs creates thematic connections that enhance the overall experience.
Why It Keeps Selling Out
Ramen Rumble has built a loyal following over eight years by consistently delivering quality. The combination of elite-level chefs, a meaningful charitable cause, and a premium venue creates an event that justifies its ticket price.
Guests attending previous Ramen Rumble events return year after year, and word-of-mouth recommendations bring new attendees who quickly become repeat participants. The fact that tickets sell out annually demonstrates the event has earned its reputation rather than relying on hype alone.
Looking Ahead
If you missed tickets to Ramen Rumble 8, there’s nothing available for the February 2 event. But this should serve as a reminder to act quickly when Ramen Rumble 9 is announced, likely in late 2026 or early 2027.
This event consistently sells out, so early action is essential. Following the organizers on social media and being ready to purchase when tickets go on sale is the only reliable strategy for securing spots.
For those attending in February, expect an evening of exceptional ramen, spirited competition, and the satisfaction of supporting a cause that creates magical experiences for children and families facing serious challenges.
