Firefighters on the scene requested additional support from law enforcement and emergency medical services shortly after arriving at the crash site located at E Buena Vista Drive and EPCOT Resorts Boulevard. The social media account @WDWActiveCrime, which tracks 911 activity across Central Florida Disney properties, documented the unfolding emergency response in real-time.

Initial dispatches classified the situation as a fire department assist call. However, within minutes, emergency personnel on scene updated the status to reflect a traffic crash involving injuries and roadway obstructions.
