It’s Official: Oogie Boogie Bash Is Coming Back
Halloween season at Disneyland is already one of the most magical times of year—but in 2026, it’s going full beast mode. That’s because Oogie Boogie Bash is returning to Disney California Adventure with more dates than ever before. And we’re not just talking a few extra nights. This time around, Disney is giving guests 33 different chances to experience the fan-favorite event.

The party officially kicks off on Tuesday, August 18 and keeps the spooky vibes going all the way through Saturday, October 31. That’s more than two months of late-night villain encounters, candy-stuffed trails, low crowds, and all the Halloween magic packed into one incredible event.
So, what’s the big deal about Oogie Boogie Bash? For starters, it’s held after regular park hours and requires a separate ticket. But that ticket unlocks some pretty special perks: limited capacity, exclusive entertainment, rare character meet-and-greets, and immersive experiences like Villains Grove, where Disney villains come to life in one of the park’s most stunning walk-throughs.

The treat trails are also a fan favorite—not just because of the candy, but because Disney places full characters along the paths. You’re not just grabbing a mini Snickers—you might be grabbing it while Ernesto de la Cruz serenades you. In the past, other villains like Sid from Toy Story, Mother Gothel, and Judge Doom have made surprise appearances.
Now, ticket prices haven’t been released yet for 2026, but last year they ranged from $139 to $199, depending on the night. Expect that to go up just a little, especially for Halloween week. Disney hasn’t confirmed a sales date either, but June is usually when tickets start flying off the digital shelves—so you’ll want to be ready.

Beyond the Bash, the entire resort celebrates Halloween Time starting August 21, complete with pumpkin décor, themed snacks, seasonal overlays (like Haunted Mansion Holiday), and the return of Plaza de la Familia. That celebration runs through November 2 and brings Coco-inspired festivities to the park, honoring Día de los Muertos with live entertainment and heartfelt storytelling.
Bottom line: if you’ve been thinking about visiting during Halloween, 2026 might be your best shot yet. More nights. More villains. More chances to join the spookiest Disney party of the year.
