Universal Launches New Ticket Offer Giving Guests a Free Extra Day

Universal Orlando just rolled out a new deal for Florida residents, and it’s the kind of offer that makes you stop and take a second look. For a limited time, Universal is giving guests an entire extra day at the parks for free—no complicated requirements, no bundles, no hotel stay needed. It’s simply a straightforward offer built around giving locals more time to enjoy the resort.

The new ticket promo centers on Universal’s 1-Day + 2nd Day Free package, which comes in two versions. Both options give you park-to-park access to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, but one of them goes even further by adding a dedicated day at Volcano Bay. If you’ve ever wished you could split your trip between thrill rides and tropical relaxation without rushing, this deal makes that incredibly easy.

With the first version of the offer, guests get two full days to hop between Studios and Islands, plus one separate day to enjoy Volcano Bay. That means time for Hogsmeade, time for Diagon Alley, and time for a beach-style break under the Florida sun. Pricing starts at $188 for adults and $184 for kids, with exact rates depending on your visit dates. The only catch is that Volcano Bay closes on select days, so planning ahead is a must.

The second version is a little more streamlined: two days of park-to-park access between the resort’s main theme parks. For guests who aren’t looking to visit Volcano Bay, this option is the more budget-friendly choice, starting at $159 for adults and $155 for children. And yes—you can still ride the Hogwarts Express between parks, which is one of the highlights of visiting Universal.

Surrounded by lush greenery and various buildings, it's set against a cityscape under a partly cloudy sky. Enjoy it before the closing bell rings!.

One important detail: Epic Universe is not part of this ticket deal. Universal’s newest theme park requires its own separate ticket and isn’t included under this promo, even with the extra day added.

Universal also makes it clear that this offer isn’t available at the front gate. Guests must buy their tickets online and present a valid Florida Resident photo ID upon arrival. As long as you meet those requirements, the deal is simple: buy one day, get a second day free. In an era where theme park tickets can get confusing or pricey, this is one of the more straightforward discounts locals will see.

For Florida residents wanting more time to explore Universal without stretching their budget, this is one of the easiest ways to make that happen.
