Mickey Mouse Is Taking Disneyland to Las Vegas, Company Announces

The Walt Disney Company has revealed that Mickey Mouse and his friends are heading to Las Vegas next month, bringing a burst of Disneyland Resort magic to one of the biggest racing events of the year. The beloved Disney icon will take part in a one-of-a-kind collaboration with Formula 1, marking the official launch of the “Fuel the Magic” project during the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Disney first announced its partnership with Formula 1 earlier this year, but new details confirm that the collaboration will make its debut at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November 2025. The special project will blend the excitement of high-speed racing with the creativity and energy of Disney parks, offering a celebration unlike anything fans have seen before.

Theme park journalist Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) shared the news on X (formerly known as Twitter):

NEW: The Disney and Formula 1 collaboration will launch at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November! ‘Fuel the Magic’ will include a performance at the Fountains of Bellgio featuring Mickey Mouse, Disneyland Band national anthem performance, fan experiences, and more.

The 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix will take place from November 20 to 22, 2025. As part of the festivities, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto will make appearances throughout the event. These “racing super fans” will participate in fan meet-and-greets, a pitlane walk, and multiple performances that bring the joy of the Disney parks straight to Las Vegas Boulevard.

For the first time ever, Maestro Mickey Mouse will perform in front of the world-famous Fountains of Bellagio in an exclusive show from Disney Live Entertainment. The official press release promises “an immersive show featuring enchanting music and thrilling pyrotechnics,” giving race fans a spectacular dose of Disney magic.

The one-of-a-kind performance from Disney Live Entertainment will feature music, thrilling pyrotechnics, and more.

To kick off race-day celebrations, the Disneyland Band will also leave Southern California for a rare appearance outside the theme parks. Continuing Disneyland Resort’s 70th-anniversary festivities, the band will perform the national anthem live at the Grand Prix’s opening ceremony, infusing the event with the unmistakable spirit of Main Street, U.S.A.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse won’t just appear on stage — they’ll also participate in a special community day, working with local children and families in Las Vegas to inspire creativity and imagination.

In true Disney fashion, exclusive merchandise will accompany the event. Beginning November 8, the Disney x Formula 1 capsule collection will be available at the F1 Las Vegas Hub, Presented by American Express, inside the Venetian Resort Las Vegas. North American fans will also be able to purchase select items online through the official Disney Store website.

The Racing Magic Continues

The “Fuel the Magic” partnership between Disney and Formula 1 won’t end after this year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix. Both companies have confirmed that the collaboration will extend through the 2026 and 2027 racing seasons.

The 2025 race will take place from November 20–22, 2025, with the full “Fuel the Magic” campaign continuing through the 2026 and 2027 Formula 1 seasons.

Fans in the United States can tune in to ESPN or the ESPN app to watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix on November 22, 2025. International audiences can find coverage through their regional Formula 1 broadcasters.
