Book Now: Details Announced for Upcoming Disney Villains Experience

Get ready for a thrilling new experience as Disney Cruise Line unveils exciting details about an upcoming Villains-themed attraction aboard the Disney Destiny. This new cruise ship, set to embark on its maiden voyage in November 2025, promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience for adventurous Disney fans, especially those with a penchant for the darker side of Disney’s beloved characters.

The Disney Destiny will set sail from Port Everglades on November 20, 2025, offering a limited season of inaugural sailings. The Heroes and Villains-themed ship will give guests the opportunity to align with either Team Heroes or Team Villains, making for a magical adventure at sea. Black Panther will be celebrated with a Grand Hall statue, and Spider-Man will take his place at the ship’s stern.

One of the highlights of the ship’s Villains theme is the new lounge called De Vil’s, inspired by the infamous Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians (1961). Located just off the ship’s Grand Hall, this piano lounge will feature a sleek, black-and-white theme with several nods to the villainess herself.

A large, piano-key-inspired marquee will welcome guests, and a black-and-white tile mosaic reading “How Marvelous,” Cruella’s signature catchphrase, will be located near the lounge entrance. This mosaic will also feature 15 white pawprints, a clever tribute to Pongo and Perdita’s 15 puppies.

Inside, the lounge will reflect Cruella’s luxurious and eccentric taste, with her trademark black-and-white spots, deep red accents, and couture-inspired furniture. The carpet will be ink-splattered and hand-drawn, a tribute to 101 Dalmatians animator Ken Anderson. A piano, decorated with black-and-white spots, will serve as the focal point of the lounge, adding to the themed atmosphere.

Guests at De Vil’s can enjoy a selection of “trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamorous wines and bubblies,” including signature drinks like the Fashionista and the Fearless Sir Galahad.

In addition to the lounge, Cruella de Vil will make special appearances in two entertainment experiences aboard the Disney Destiny. One of these experiences will feature an interactive runway-style show, where the couture-loving villain will critique guests’ fashion knowledge. Cruella will also sometimes appear when her iconic theme song, “Cruella de Vil,” plays, inviting guests to pen their own flattering tributes to her.

The Disney Destiny’s Villains experience isn’t the only Villains-related project in the works. Walt Disney World Resort has recently announced plans to create a new Disney Villains-themed land “beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad” in Magic Kingdom Park, vastly expanding the original Central Florida Disney park’s footprint. On top of that, the Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show recently premiered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
