Forget the Tropical Americas, Disney Confirms Daisy Duck Attraction for Animal Kingdom

Daisy Duck is stepping into the spotlight at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park with a brand-new experience that’s as colorful and charming as the character herself. Nestled inside Restaurantosaurus—an opening day favorite since 1998—guests can now discover Daisy’s Dig, a fun, interactive attraction perfect for all ages. Here, guests are invited to join Daisy for sing-alongs, arts and crafts, and memorable character meet-and-greets.

The surprise debut is part of the resort-wide Cool Kid Summer event, which features limited-time activities across Walt Disney World Resort. Over at EPCOT, fans can enjoy the high-energy GoofyCore party at the newly opened CommuniCore Hall. These seasonal experiences are designed to offer something extra for parkgoers while major updates continue to unfold across the property.

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the landscape is changing dramatically. In January 2025, Disney World officially closed attractions in the DinoLand U.S.A. area, including TriceraTop Spin and the Fossil Fun Games, as it prepared the space for an ambitious reimagining. The transformation will usher in a brand-new Tropical Americas land, officially titled Pueblo Esperanza. Unveiled during the recent D23 Expo, this land will feature two marquee attractions inspired by Disney’s Encanto and the Indiana Jones franchise, marking a bold new direction for the theme park.

As fans await the major additions still on the horizon, these seasonal offerings provide a welcome way to enjoy a visit amid all the excitement.

At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his… More »
