Donald Trump “Loses It” in Viral Clip After Disney Announces Major Magic Kingdom Closure
It’s not often that Disney and politics collide in a way that gets people across the internet laughing, fuming, and saying “too real”—but that’s exactly what happened this week.
In the five-second video, posted by the parody account @Cynical_Disney, Trump is shown passionately making a declaration.
The quote isn’t actually about Disney (and yes, it’s heavily edited), but it dropped at the perfect time: right after the company filed official demolition permits to begin tearing down Tom Sawyer Island and draining the Rivers of America at Magic Kingdom.
And fans? They’ve basically declared the meme their new anthem.

A Classic Disney Area Is Getting Bulldozed
On June 25, Disney filed the paperwork that confirmed what had already been announced. A huge section of Magic Kingdom is being removed to make way for Piston Peak National Park—a Cars-themed land—and the much-anticipated Villains Land. In the process, guests will be saying goodbye to:
-
Tom Sawyer Island
-
Rivers of America
-
The Liberty Belle Riverboat
-
Frontierland’s train station
-
And likely Harper’s Mill, Fort Langhorn, and more
The last day to experience these attractions will be July 6, 2025. After that, construction begins. Permits list NorthStar Contracting Group—one of the top demolition companies in the country—as the crew handling it.
Trump Will Be Back in Magic Kingdom (For Real)
Adding to the timing? President Trump is set to return to Magic Kingdom in a very real way soon—when Hall of Presidents reopens. While Disney hasn’t given a firm reopening date, the attraction will once again feature animatronics of all U.S. presidents, including Trump.
In other words, he’s not just meme material—he’s literally about to be back on display in the same park he’s now trending over.
Goodbye to a Classic Era?
This moment represents more than a meme. It’s a symbolic turning point for Magic Kingdom, as peaceful riverboat rides and hidden islands for kids are being replaced by IP-driven expansions. Even fans who are excited about new rides feel torn about what’s being lost.
As for the meme? It’ll fade eventually. But for now, it’s the voice of the fandom—and it’s shouting louder than any press release.
