SeaWorld has slashed ticket prices in Orlando, not long after it was forced to abruptly close one park.
Rare though they may be, all theme parks face unexpected closures at one point or another – whether that’s due to weather, a global pandemic, or issues related to guest safety. The latter was an issue for Aquatica last week when the water park was forced to close due to a TikTok-fueled takeover.

A swarm of teenage guests rapidly overwhelmed the park, prompting staff to shut down operations for guest safety. This isn’t the first time Aquatica has dealt with such chaos. One year ago, a similar incident occurred and proved much more dramatic, with a large-scale fight caught on camera.
SeaWorld Slashes Theme Park Ticket Prices
One week later, both SeaWorld destinations in Orlando – SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando – are slashing their prices.
The two parks have rolled out a special Fourth of July ticket sale running through June 22, offering savings of up to 55% on single-day tickets, Fun Cards, and Annual Passes for both parks.
This limited-time promotion gives guests considerable flexibility, whether they’re planning a one-off visit or looking to return multiple times throughout the summer season.
Guests over the age of 21 can also take advantage of one free beer per day.
“Whether you’re here for the thrills, the shows, the animals, or the food, there’s no better time to visit,” said Jon Peterson, Park President of SeaWorld Orlando. “We can’t wait to welcome guests for an unforgettable summer at SeaWorld Orlando.”

Aquatica is similarly ramping up its seasonal offerings with both new and returning experiences. Highlights include AquaGlow, a separately ticketed nighttime event running select nights through September 27; popular attractions like Roa’s Rapids and the wave pools; and Turi’s Kid Cove for younger visitors. Guests can also take advantage of shaded walkways, private cabanas, and tiki bars for a more relaxing day at the water park.
Park leaders emphasized the timing and scope of the promotion. SeaWorld Orlando President Jon Peterson described the Summer Spectacular as a way to bring guests a range of new experiences across attractions, shows, animal encounters, and food.
“We are proud to invite guests to Aquatica Orlando this summer to discover everything from high-speed thrills to relaxing waterways,” said Brad Gilmour, Park President of Aquatica Orlando. “With exciting limited-time events like AquaGlow, all-new enhancements throughout the park, and beloved attractions that keep guests coming back year-round, there’s no better place to cool off and make unforgettable memories with family and friends.”
